What equals 48 ounces??

Hi Yesenia

There are a couple of possible answers, depending on whether you're talking about liquid ounces, or weight ounces.

For liquids, there are 8 fluid ounces in a kitchen '1 Cup' measuring cup. That means 48 fluid ounces are the same as 6 cups, 3 pints (2 cups per pint) , or 1-1/2 quarts (two pints per quart).

For weight, there are 16 ounces in a pound. (One fluid ounce of water also weighs one weight ounce, which is the basis of the adage 'A pint's a pound, the world around', since a pint is 16 fluid ounces, and 16 fluid ounces of water, or near-water like some beer, will then weigh a pound' ).. Anyhow, in this case, 16 goes 3 times into 48 ounces, so it will weigh 3 pounds.

For metric, 2.2 pounds per kilogram, or 29.5735 milliliters per fluid ounce.

Cheers!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MG AND ML

A Milligram is MG and a Milliliter is a ML. (MG) is used in dry measure and (ML) is used in liquid measure

1000 micrograms (mcg) EQUALS 1 milligram (mg)
1000 milligrams (mg) EQUALS 1 gram (g)
1000 grams (g) EQUALS 1 kilogram (kg)

1 kilogram (kg) EQUALS 2.2046 pounds
1 ounce EQUALS 28.35 grams
1 pound EQUALS 0.4536 kilograms
1 pound EQUALS 16 ounces
16 ounces EQUALS 453.6 grams

1000 milliliters (mL) EQUALS 1 liter (L)
1 liter (L) EQUALS 1.0567 quarts liquid
1 quart liquid EQUALS 0.9463 liter
4 quarts EQUALS 1 gallon

May I ask how much popcorn can the Elite Epm 250 Popcorn maker can produce?

The manufacturer rates it as a 2.5 ounce kettle. This means 2.5 ounces of raw kernels each batch.
1 ounce of kernels = 1 quart of popped popcorn.
Roughly a half gallon of popcorn every 3-4 minutes.

How do I mix the gas/oil on my farmtouch chainsaw

Most persons use a 50:1 mixture of gas to oil.
That means put one ounce of oil into a quart and a half of gas.
Or two ounces into 3 quarts of gasoline.
Or, a little over two ounces into a gallon of gasoline.

Need to make 50:1 ratio mix. what i have on hand is the poulin 3.2 fluid ounce that makes 1 gallon at 40:1. how many ounces of this mix would need to be used to achieve the 50:1 mix ratio.

2 choices here
if you want to use the entire 3.2 oz bottle you need to add it to 1.25 gallons of fuel to = 50:1 ratio

if you have 1 gallon of fuel you need to add 2.6 oz of oil to the fuel to equal 50:1 ratio

hope that helps

Fuel mixture for a mcculloch 610 chainsaw

40:1 is the manufactures recommendation as seen here:

I quart of premium fuel (32 ounces) to 3/4 ounces = 42.7:1
No chainsaw or any other 2 cycle device has EVER recommended 42.7 to 1.
I gallon of premium fuel (128 ounces) to 3.2 ounces is 40:1.
Any chainsaw outlet sells 2.6 ounce containers of 2-cycle oil that should be mixed with 1 gallon of premium fuel. That is 50:1 and may be safely used in all 2-cycle engines once adjusted to operate with this mix. Any mix over 1.5 months old should be consumed in a 4 cycle engine. HTH

What is the gas mix parts oil to gas

Your manual says 40:1.
I gallon of premium fuel to 3.2 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.

I gallon of premium fuel to 3 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil (.Oz/quart) is about 43:1.

Purchase the pre-measured 2.6 ounce 2-cycle containers sold at most chainsaw outlets.
I gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil is 50:1.
Once adjusted with this mix your saw will start easier, plugs, pistons, and mufflers will take considerably longer to carbon foul. HTH
