Re: Radio frequency fades after few seconds

Your headset wires are the antenna of your phone... be sure to let it loose freely to avoid the frequency fading... dont fold it...

How can I listen to the radio without the head set?

Hi Arthur, unfortunately you can't as the wired headset acts as an antenna!

Since the FM radio uses the provided wired stereo headset as its antenna, before opening the application, connect the headset to your phone's the audio jack.
9.3.1 Opening the FM Radio
1. On the Home screen, touch
2. The first time you open FM radio, touch Auto tuning, which automatically scans for
available FM channels, saves them as presets, and plays the first FM channel

My 2012 ford edge FM radio will not seek. You can change the radio station with the tune button, but the seek just goes through all the channels and only stops once. I am able to get all the channels if...

The seek function can find only one signal strong enough to lock on. You may find that moving to another location causes the seek function to work the way it should.

I am unable to listen to the radio on my Nokia C3. I am sure it has nothing to do with the ear phones because I can listen to My Music. What could be the problem and what should I do?

for lisenting to radio you need to set the right frequency in the tuning section.enquire about the frequency of the nearest radio stations, enter it manually and give it a try.
good luck

Radio set up on samsung j700

FM radio works the same way that AM radio works. The difference is in how the carrier wave is modulated, or altered. With AM radio, the amplitude, or overall strength, of the signal is varied to incorporate the sound information. With FM, the frequency (the number of times each second that the current changes direction) of the carrier signal is varied. FM signals have a great advantage over AM signals. Both signals are susceptible to slight changes in amplitude. With an AM broadcast, these changes result in static. With an FM broadcast, slight changes in amplitude don't matter -- since the audio signal is conveyed through changes in frequency, the FM receiver can just ignore changes in amplitude. The result: no static at all.
For sellecting frenquencies, go to radio, options, set frequency and search...
Good luck!

Fading Signal Strength

could be a worn rf modulator
this controls the radio frequencies.
If you are having trouble with dropping calls that last for a little longer than normal 1-2 mins then that would be my guess
