What is the torque specs on a 1927 model t head bolt

Ford didn't publish torque specs for anything on a model T but a good rule of thumb for the size of the model T bolts would be to cinch the bolts to about 30 lbs/ft and then finish each one to 50 lbs/ft. These numbers are for a 'dry' installation. That is to say screwing a clean but not oiled bolt into a clean but dry hole. Adding oil or anti seize to the bolt or hole can skew the torque readings a bit and if too much oil should find it's way into the hole one can find themselves trying to tighten a bolt against a hydraulic lock situation and really screw up the works. Fortunately the old model T does not pose much of a sealing problem as the cylinder pressure is low and all one is really concerned with is keeping the thing water tight.

Can't find the torque head bolt pattern for a 1996 gmc sierra 5.7 vortex

The "pattern" for ANY cylinder head is pretty much the same...start with the bolts in the center of the head and work your way out to both ends.
Torquing the cylinder head on your 5.7L Vortec engine to manufacturer specifications requires the use of a "torque angle" gauge, as well as a traditional torque meter.

The torque specifications are as follows:

> Step 1: All bolts: 22 Ft Lbs (30 Nm.)
> Step 2: Short bolts: Additional 55 degrees; Medium bolts: Additional 65 degrees; Long bolts: Additional 75 degrees

Need to know the foot pounds for 1996 ultra classic EVO head bolts...

It's not quite that simple on Evo heads. They torque in a particular pattern in three steps. I cannot send the torque pattern to you via this forum. If you'll contact me directly at wd4ity@bellsouth.net , I'll give you the torque pattern and sequences.

Good Luck

Need to find specks on cylingder head for 1996 toyota tercel

The cylinder head bolt torque is a 2 step process.

First: Torque all of the bolts to 45 Nm (450 Kgf-cm or 33 ft lbs.)
Replace any head bolt that will not torque to the above specs.

Second: after all ten bolts are torqued to the above specs, the head bolts are then "Torqued to Distance"...

Starting at the center bolts, retorque all ten bolts an additional 90 degrees.

Hope this helps, the graciousness of a FixYa rating would be greatly appreciated.
