Go to Steam > Library > Right click on whatever game isn't working >
Now click on Properties > Properties window will now appear >
Click on Local Files Tab > Now click on Verify Integrity of game
cache this will now check the files and fix them if there are any
problems found. Once this has completed try opening your game again the error
should now have gone. If that doesn't seem to work, close Steam, then fully exit out of it and restart it.
Go to Welcome to Steam and login. Next click on your account name in the upper right hand corner and go to account details. Now you can click "Add Funds" on the right hand side, select the amount you want to add and your all set.

Wow. New problem. Try restarting Steam. If that work, then if you have another computer/PC/laptop in your home, then boot it up, go to steam.com, and log in. Check to see if your friends are still on your list by going into the Steam community. Oh wait. this is for the PC version. If you're talking about X360 or PS3, then IDK. im srry. but if it's PC, then RATE. lol
you can call the 800 number on your unit and thy would be able to tell you your nearest service center. Or you can log on to there web sit and go to dealer locator's, and ty-ip in your zip code. good luck I hoped this helped
Please try this it will work (hope so )
First u need to verify integrity of game cache
1. Load Steam
2. From the My Games tab, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache… button.
4. Steam will verify the game cache files (GCF’s) – this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
6. Run The Game
And if you want to play in offline mode, you simply make sure you are not connected to
the internet, run the game and a box from the STEAM program will appear
with a selection box with play in offline mode, click this and you
away. Biggest problem is you will need to connect to the internet on a
regular basis to log in to your steam account so steam can verify your
login details, so therefore it is not totally offline, which for me is
**** because i havent got the internet connection at the moment and i
can no longer run the game in offline mode.
This error message indicates that the game server which you are attempting to connect to is unable to contact the Steam Authentication Servers.
Please observe the following process to determine whether the error is a result of a Steam outage, issues with the game server connecting to the Steam Authentication Servers, or an issue with your internect connection.
Try joining several different game servers - if you are able to connect to a different game server, there is an issue with the game server which reported the Server Verification Failed error
If you are not able to connect to any game servers, check the Steam Status page - if the Steam Players and Game Servers graph shows a very sharp decline in players, there may be a temporary Steam outage
If there does not appear to be an outage, check your connection to the Steam Authentication Servers through the Steam client:
From the main Steam window select File then Settings
Select the Internet tab
At the bottom of the window, confirm that Steam is reporting the Steam has successfully connected to the authentication servers. message
If Steam reports that you are not connected to the authentication servers, please exit and restart Steam and, if you are unable to connect to the Steam Authentication Servers upon logging back in and you have confirmed that there is not an outage, please see the Router and Router Firmware Issues topic to ensure the issue is not related to router firmware which is incompatible with Steam
