I neeed my RDU4100 and Spirit MU21CV to work as 1.

Here's a link to the user guides for each radio: http://www.mytoolstore.com/motorola/rdx_userguide.pdf
It would be easiest to read out the programming from the RDU4100 and then program the MU21 to match.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Sounds like you do not have your radios programmed to match one another. The MU21CV is a user programmable model. You might call your local Motorola dealer or one of the companies online to have someone walk you through programming the radio(s). With this model it can appear the radio is not powering up, when it simply is not programmed correctly.

I have boxes of used boards for the MV and MU radios. If you want to un solder the battery terminals, they are yours for the cost of shipping. Up to six boards. I also have new terminals in stock: email@example.com
