SOURCE: The whole wire that connects the left ear bud along with the ear bud still on it just fell out of the part where the two wires come together. Is there any solution to this problem?

buy new headphones?. i think a lot better than trying to repair it. it sounds like you are talking about where both earbud wires come together at the molded connector part that splices the wires together. unless you are mechanically inclined and electrically astute, you should just replace the

How can I repair my Beats Mixr headphone in which one of the ear is not working ?

Presumably this is a wiring problem, for one of two reasons. If you look at the RCA plug that you use to hook into your stereo, you will see two black bands on it - one band for each signal - left or right. If there isn't a good connection, often you won't get sound in both earpieces. First try inserting the plug into your equipment part way, or rotating it carefully, to see if you can get both ears working. If that doesn't work, then the problem is either the wire for whatever ear is not working, not being connected properly at the RCA plug itself, or at the ear in question. You can unscrew the plastic cover on the RCA plug to see the wiring connection. But if the connection is bad at the actual earpiece, I would suggest returning the headphones, rather than taking them apart. Good luck.

Louder in one ear than the other

There is a possibility that your earphones need cleaning. Take off the tips and gently brush the metallic mesh with some cloth. Then dip each earpiece into drop of alcohol (you need to dip mesh only, not the whole earpiece). Then wipe it clean with cotton bud or something similar. Next, dip your earpieces the same way into drop of hydrogen peroxide and leave them there for few minutes. After that, wipe them again.
I used this method on my ie8 and it really helped.

Left ear bud lost all sound- no cord damage-only 5 months old...is it worth getting fixed by professional or is there something I can do to fix it ? H

The cords are sealed into the earphone. You can take a multimeter and test the continutity of the either earpieces, once you are convinced that the left side is faulty, first of all use a small thin needle as the probe, use your multimeter in the continuity range, holding one end of the meter probe to the jack , inset the pin like an ijection into the wires to obtain the connection, it there is no connection out of the headphone jack, I think you can replace with a new one to be soldered. If not proceed to the earpiece to confirm, then open the sealed unit and be lucky if the earpiece is not damaged but only the wires. Good Day

Only one ear working

Hi, what makes the earpiece not working, is that the wire inside the speaker area where you put inside the ear is faulty.

Loose the head of that small speaker, you will see the wire that has removed, use a soldering iron and a lead to fix it back. After fixing back, you can start using it again.

have a nice day.

The black rubber earpiece fell off my Plantronics Bluetooth while I was away from home. The device works perfectly, I just need to purchase a package of earpieces. Can anyone tell me where to buy these?

Plantronics has never sold replacement ear buds for the Explorer 330 Bluetooth headset. However you can call Plantronics directly at 800-544-4660 ext 5538 to see what options they may have available for you.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Everything is working fine except the ear piece

The other post refers to the process that allows you to use speaker only, instead of automatically selecting earpiece. Unfortunately, this will not resolve your issue, as it appears that your earpiece has a loose connection and must be repaired, or you can continue to use speakerphone, bluetooth (if capable), or wired headset.

Volume is non-existant on LG VX 4400

When you press vol up & down it will indicate "ringer ear jack." This means the phone is stuck in ear jack mode expecting a wired head phone accessory. Remove the battery then unscrew and pull out the antenna and the black plastic sleeve. Then remove the for small torx screws and carefully remove the back. Take a tooth pick to the back of the ear jack an bend the retainer pin back. Put everything back in reverse order and it should work fine.
