SOURCE: Canon EOS Rebel G - The picture is cut in half

I'm afraid this is almost certainly a shutter fault - the second curtain of the focal-plane shutter is getting stuck half-way across the film and therefore not shutting properly. The fact that the other half of each frame is OK makes me think that the second curtain is not sticking totally but just moving very slowly for half of its run, thus seriously overexposing that half of the film. This is a repair shop job - unless you want to try it yourself: it may be just some dirt stuck in the track the shutter curtain runs in, but a fair bit of skill is needed to get to it & clean it without damaging anything!

SOURCE: Film won't load on Minolta 400si Maxxum Camera

My daughter took the camera to her photography teacher he was able to load the film by wrapping more film around the roller. It's not as easy to load as my Canon. I thought we had put plenty of film around it already. Oh well, it's working anyway.

Camera keeps sucking the film back into the canister instead of loading it

Check the bottom DX pin in the film chamber. These get bent easily and it is also used for the film detect switch so that the camera knows there is film in the camera.

My canon eos 1000 keeps on rewinding the film into the cannister when i put a new film in

The XS normally winds the film completely out of the cassette and then rewinds it back into the cassette as you take pictures

I finished taking pictures but it didnt rewind. did i load the film wrong? or did the batteries die? or whats up

Have you tried taking just one more pic to see if that triggers the rewind? If that didn't work, most film cameras have a rewind button. Usually on the bottom of camera. If you still can't get your film to rewind, take camera to your nearest photo finisher. They should have a dark box; they can remove your film manually.

3. Check for any buttons being in pressed conditions.
4.See whether the frame counter resets when opening the door

You may have to manually rewind the film that you just loaded and try again. The is a manual rewind button on this camera. Before you load the new roll, check the condition of the shutter curtains/blades. Do they look out of place or pushed in?

Camera issues

Check your mirror lock up switch. This function is used for long exposures locking the mirror in the up position to reduce vibration before the shutter is released, but you will not be able to use the view finder.
