I have a Royal 1100ML register and I forgot the manager passcode to finish setting it up. How can I reset this?

The only way I have found to reset this register was to pull the battery's and start all over again like it was new. if you did not back up the register then any inputs or plu's will be erased. Don't know any other way. had to reset mine twice now and put a few hours into re-programming the plu's. back-up made it easier to load last configuration. connects to a serial port on a computer and run the software that came with the register. Also since mine continues to mess up with a managers password and locks my machine I no longer use a password protect mode no do I lock out x and z reports. Think this model has a glitch since I have seen more than 1 person with the same problem and no real cure. lots of luck

After power surge on sharp XE-A207 cash register the unit will not turn on or display anything on screen. Unit does have power to it

Did you have good batteries in it? If they were low, locking up is a common symptom when the machine tries to rely on them to support memory during power cuts. You might need to try a master reset and re-program it

The fuse keeps blowing inside the edenpure heater

Generally speaking, fuses blow when too much current passes through them. Typically this happens when there is a short circuit some place. a connector or bare spot in a wire touching ground, a bad component on a circuit board, a bit of conductive debris on a circuit board all can cause shorts. If the fuse blows, it's doing its job to protect you from a problem you have yet to find.

Any four digit code works no matter how many times you reset code. how do you erase all codes and start fresh?

How do I change the access code (and delete my old code) on my Powerbolt 1000?

The steps below are to change your access code to a new code. This will also remove any previous codes stored in the Powerbolt's memory.

pb1000programbutton

  1. Manually put the bolt in the extended (lock) position. Press the PROGRAM button once, enter your new 4 - 8 digit code and then press the LOCK button.
  2. Press the PROGRAM button twice, enter the same new code and then press the LOCK button once.
  3. Press the PROGRAM button three times, enter the same new code and then press LOCK once.
If your old code still remains in the unit, you will need to perform a hard reset of the unit. To perform a hard reset of the unit, remove all four batteries and leave them out for 1 hour. After the hour has passed, you may re-enter the batteries.

I'd recommend replacing the batteries if you haven't done so yet.
Good luck--and please provide feedback if this helps!

Hello I have a casio tk-1300 cash register. But he gives to E03. can anyone help me with it. I like to hear. Jarno

This means initialisation has not completed. The machine is trying to complete a memory clear. It is commonly caused by a faulty memory battery. It will also happen if the machine has been turned off long enough to flatten the battery. Work through the initialisation procedure in the programming manual. If you need the manual, it is here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TK-1300_and_CE-4200_and_CE-4250_programming_manual.html

My TEC MA-1650 won't accept barcodes or PLU's nor can I delete any. Has been stored for 12 months.Cannot perform a PLU reset. Won't recognise PLU's or barcodes which should be stored in memory. Thanks

These units have memory protection battery, when power is turned off
the battery will take over, after 6 months, specially older registers, they will loose all the program info, you will need to reset the memory to factory default and then leave it plugged in a couple of days then unplug and leave a day when you power on the next day it should work if it doesn't you need to replace the battery
