Question about Vornado Dryers
I have a older vornado air circulator and i use it propped on a chair so it blows on me while in bed. I woke up in middle of the night and it had stopped working, it had a terrible burning smell and fell on its face... I am wondering how dangerous this was and if its worth fixing

SOURCE: My dryer just stoped working.
Chances are it may just need a new connector in the back where the power cord connects. Check it and see if you can tell where any wires have been damaged. This is usually very easy to do with little or no disassembly.

I would not use this fan any further. It sounds like the motor is burning a coil or has already done so. This is a huge fire hazard.

take the top cover off the unit(after UNPLUGGING unit of course)screw location varies on units, some you need to remove front cover first to access screws for top
