Question about Chrysler 2002 Concorde LX
Hard to accelerate
Normally when you experience this problem this indicates that you have an engine malfuntion. your engine will not want to accelerate and give you unstable accelaration like jerking every so often.
I had this problem before with my Chysler van and I located the problem to the Exhaust Gaz Recycling unit located on the exhaust manifold. This unit allows the unburned gas of the exhaut to be burned again. It is a valve that is activated by the oxigen sensor.
I took the defective EGR apart and found that the diode connected across the activating coil that operates the valve to be defective. It is an expensive part for some to replace but do not attempt to replace it by a used one...otherwise your problem will reoccur. A good car dealer should be able to analyse your problem by checking your engine with his analyser/trouble shooter.
