General Maintenance of your Computer Hardware.

Once in a Month.
1. Unplug all the connections from the system (Note: Make sure the system is off and the power supply is turned off, and before removing the connections carefully make a note of what all connections removed from the points, especially USB cables)
2. Open the back cover by removing screws or any locks present (See manual of the respective brand to open the cover)
3. Using the vacuum cleaner or Blower, use the Blower side and blow all the dust present on the motherboard, SMPS and especially near the Heat sink of the Processor fan.
(Note: In any case do not use the Blower section to dust as it may even pick the jumpers on the Motherboard. Also make sure while blowing the dust, in hurry dont touch the Motherboard keep it atleast 10cms distance and blow in order to avoid any scratches or damages to the Motherboard)
4. Finally fix back the back cover and connect back all the connections as it is position.
This helps in avoiding any errors generated in OS due to Hardware and also avoid getting hardware malfunctioning too.

How to fix my PHILIPS DH4B1S 4x SATA HH BLU-RAY OPTICAL DISC DRIVE form loseing its reading abiltiy

I'm assuming that this drive is losing its ability to read discs. This happens to any drive over time, but, if the drive isn't that old then try getting a lens cleaning kit as dust can be cleaned with a cloth, but grime and oils can't. This should prolong your drive for some time.

After about minutes of running the computer just

this sounds like an overheating problem.

First thing i would check would be the CPU fan. you will have to remove the side access panel on the case to check this.
If the CPU cooling fan is covered in dust, and the spaces between the cooling fins on the heatsink (right underneath the CPU fan) are clogged with dust. it would cause this problem.
there is also a fan at the back of the computer inside the power supply that can get clogged with dust, and may possibly overheating and shutting off. if you look in the back of your computer and find where the power cord plugs in, the power supply cooling fan is right around there as well.

If there is a good buildup of dust, it would be best to have your computer professionally cleaned. Using a vaccum cleaner is not a good idea unless you are familiar with procedures of working with static sensitive components.

hope this helps

Dell Dimension 5150 will not start!

This is related to Hardware.

There might be a lose Ram of data cable connection on Motherboard.

This type of issue is also seen when the there is dust accumulation on Process Fan and CPU fan resulting in over heating.

This might also be due to malfunction of a motherboard.

The third reason could be that SMPS his not working.
