Question about EA Sports F1 2002

1 Answer

Video issues I am trying to play F1 2002 on my laptop and I am having a conflict between the game and my pc in regards to resolution and bit rate. I have had this problem in the past with other computers, but I can't seem to find the sweet spot, and it sucks trying to drive a blinking mangled race car.

What is the solution to fix the black borders on the screen of my laptop monitor when I try to play hidden object games?

Adjust the resolution through Control Panel and/or adjust the resolution of the game through the main menu of the game, sometimes called video options or video settings

The display on my laptop is blurry and has some type of distortion making it difficult to see (especially photos and videos). I've tried multiple resolution settings and none seem to resolve the issue.

Are you sure the video adapter card is OK? A low-end video card may not
have the bandwith necessary to support high refresh rates at high
resolution. Just because the card will *generate* a given mode doesn't mean
that it will work well. Try the following steps.

1. Reduce the refresh rate to 60 Hz The monitor may seem to flicker a
little, but don't worry about it.

2. If there was no change, the problem is likely in the monitor

3. If that improved the resolution, then try removing any monitor extender
cables and play with higher refresh rates again. If that fixes the probem,
great, otherwise

3. Replace the videa adapter card with a better one.

Pls tell me what range an AVI video file resolution, MPEG4-XVid or DivX, Frame rate, sample rate and bit rate are playble in Samsung C360 DVD Palyer. Why I cannot play some AVI video files at all Thanks

One possible cause would be the player. Their is a chance that the DVD player do not support the version of your AVI. Try to use Total Video Converter, this is what i use when i cannot play a video on our LCD TV. Hope it helps thanks.

How do i get my PC game Air Conflicts to work with my WINDOWS 7? Help!

Here are some suggestions from the developer: Dear Sir It is possible to play Air Conflicts on Windows 7.

First thing I would try is installing the version of DirectX that is on the Air Conflicts CD. If you insert the CD a panel should appear, click the Install DirectX button and follow the on-screen instructions.
If that fails there is an update which sometimes solves this sort of issue for some video cards. Just click on the link below to download a zip file (it's under 200 KB). Download the zip file to your computer. Open the zip file and run the program, follow the instructions to complete the update. Try running Air Conflicts again.

I have a acer aspire 5715z laptop i keep going to play sims game but it freezes , am i not able to play games on this laptop?

Look at the specs needed on the side of the Sims box. You may need more memory or a better video board. Also, many games , for unknown reasons, require 256 resolution.

Video conversion

Hello Andrew,
Even though the website claims Archos can play videos of DVD resolution it cannot play videos of such big resolution 800 x 480..To display the full DVD resolution, you would either have to buy the HD add-on plugin (presumably for $20 as it is not available yet), which allows resolution higher than 720x480, or to buy the MPEG2 plugin, which allows you to play a raw DVD VOB file...So also it plays videos of Square pixels,So try to reduce a bit of resolution to 720x480....!!!!...Better Reduce the Resolution of the video to 740 x 480 and the bit rate while Converting, so Your Archos can play the MOvie Completely and you can watch it...Also I hope the Embeded Subtitles in the movie(MP4) doesnt work for which you have to get a seperated Plug-in i guess...Thank you!!!...

Don forget to rate the solution..

Please post back for further assistance...

Good Regards!!!..

Monitor shut down

It is possible that you are playing the game at a higher resolution than your video card can support. Even if your computer is capable of displaying a high resolution during normal browsing activity, that doesn't mean it can support the same resolution during graphics-intensive use. Try turning down the resolution and the quality in your game options and see if the problem goes away. I ran into this same issue when trying to power a 1920x1200 monitor with a GeForce FX 5200 Ultra and discovered the solution is either a lower resolution or more graphics power.
