The TV was on & I muted it & put the remote in my lap. I must have moved & accidentally pressed a button & the picture disappeared. We have sound but no picture

Remove batteries from Remote. Remove wall plug to television and count to 10. Replace remote batteries. Plug television back in.

If it still does it, check Input, and check brightness settings.

Remove set and a cable or sat box or a receiver if in line , remove all from power for several minutes and then power back, a reboot may help and cannot hurt.

Either bad main logic board or bad lcd panel. If bad panel, it's not worth repair. Can find main board at Encompas Parts.

I accidentally pushed the aux button last night. Now the sat button won't come on and I can't access the dish receiver with the remote.

Hi my nameis Mike Houston of DISH Network and I see you pushed the AUX button and the SATbutton will not light up. There is an easy fix to this, first replace thebatteries and try the Sat button. If the Sat button will not light up pleasereaddress the remote, I will send the link to help with these steps. http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/remote-setup

When I turn on TV I get a message no video input. We never use video with this tv. Only have it for looking at satelite. The other main tv is working fine. I pressed all the buttons but nothing works.

Sounds like the input accidentally got changed. On the remote that came with the TV, push the INPUT button until you get your satellite picture again. If your SAT. remote is programmed to your TV, push the TV button, then the input button until you see your picture. If this doesn't work then the sat. cable is not securely attached or no longer works.

Sounds like horizonal output transistor could be over heating. There could be other problems. But I would start there. You can find the part number on the schematic inside the set. If you change it yourself don't forget to use the included insulater. Part should cost between 15 & 20 dollars. You will need make & model # of set at electronic parts store.
Diagrahm inside set will show you location of transistor.
