Question about Galaxy Radios DX-959 40-Channels Base CB Radio
When it's warm it'll be sitting there and keyup bu itself.
Did you or someone else wire another mic to it? Try the original mic to see if it still happens. you could buy some canned mr.freeze and give it a squirt around the mic connector and its circuits to the final and the Intergrated circuit. do it in steps until you find out where the problem is then replace that part.

If there is no transmit at all, it sounds like it wasn't fully refurbished. If it is just low modulation then just turn VR16 and VR14 all the way to the left.
If its not working at all, send it back. It hasn't been refurbished.

Hello, please tell me what you were doing before and at the time of change. Were the digit lights recently switched? Please give me a little more information so I can be more specific in my answer. Thank you.
