Question about Dual Electronics Car Audio & Video

1 Answer

I installed a used dual xdma6438 reciever into my 1992 ford f150 xlt. The radio remains "hot" even with the key out. The radio plays in every position but "run". I thought maybe it was the ignition switch. I changed that but no change.

SOURCE: What so I do when my dual XDMA6438 won't play the

I have read the manual on the Dual website. You should too.
when it says Aux front it is expecting music to come from the front auxillary socket. You have music on a USB socket instead, so you have to tell the dual it use that socket, by pressing MODE UP or MODE DOWN until it says USB.

Dual tanks on 1990 Ford F150

It should not cause no problems but instead of removing the tank leave it in the truck take out all the fuel in the tank and jus discontinue use of it. This will save you alot of time and trouble and i also suggest that if anyone besides you drives this vehicle then i would put a locking gas cap on it so it cant be accessed at anytime except by you.
