How to Write Thesis in One Week

Writing a thesis is very necessary for students because getting their degrees is impossible without it. If the student have not worked out a top quality and custom thesis on their own to be presented to their teacher at the year end, they will face problems in getting their degrees on the right time and passing out with distinction. It is because a thesis is a document submitted in support of a candidate for an academic degree or professional qualification and it represents the candidate's findings and research on a particular subject.

While some students are given to write a thesis during their bachelor's degree program, others are required to do it for their masters or even PhD degrees. They are required to come up with the best paper on their own so that the teachers can judge them for their writing, research and editing skills and understand how well the students have been able to do learn during their academic years. Writing a thesis is no easy task for many students because first of all it is a long and highly complex piece of document that requires a lot of research and hard work. Secondly, it also requires a lot of time as there is too much to do and when students are already burdened with so much of routine working, making time to write a thesis is no easy task.

There are so many students who end up suffering from bad results or just manage to get passing marks because they are unable to write a good paper in the given time. This article is a guide for all those students who do not understand what writing a thesis is all about and how they can manage their time and efforts in such a manner that they come up with a thesis in one week and enjoy best results in class too. Here are the 10 necessary steps that will guide students how they can write their thesis in just one week and make sure they do a good job on their assignment.

Planning to Write a Thesis:
Students need to understand that when it comes to writing a thesis, they must have a main point, a central idea or a message that they want to convey to the readers. They must know what they are working on and how they want to present their thoughts and ideas to the readers. This can only be done if they plan to write their thesis and understand how to move forward. They must study the subject and the given topic really well because this is the only way they will be able to start planning their thesis.

Collecting Information and Conducting Research:
Collecting information and conducting research is the most key step when it comes to writing a thesis or PhD dissertation. The faster the students conduct research, the quicker they will be able to write the paper. It is important to know that when they have only one week to write the paper, they should only spend a day or two on research and not more because this will not leave them much time to write the paper or edit it which are also very important.

Compiling the Research:
After collecting the research material, it is necessary that students know how to compile that research together. They will find too many details and while some of them will be important and worthy, others will not be relevant to their subject or topic. They must learn how to compile the research and only use the relevant and important details for their thesis. They should take only a few hours to do this as they have limited time and must begin the writing process.

Starting the Writing Process:
Once the students are done with the research and compilation process, it is time to start the writing process and they need to make sure that they write the best way without making any mistakes about what information they are imparting to their readers. They must only provide the most relevant and authentic details as the teachers would be checking the papers out thoroughly.

Organization of Content:
Organization of content is very important because if it is not arranged the right way, it will not make sense to the readers and they will only end up getting concluded about what the paper is all about. They must structure the paper rightly by starting with introduction and ending with conclusion and placing main body of discussion and arguments in between.

Checking Out Facts and Details:
It is necessary that students check out the facts and details they are using in their paper as they are very important and play a key role in their success. They need to check out the dates and facts to make sure they have the accurate details in their paper.

Editing and Proofreading:
After they are done with writing, it is time to edit and proofread their paper so that they can point out any mistakes or errors that they have made while writing the paper. They must get rid of all the spelling, typing, grammatical and sentence structure mistakes in order to achieve good marks.

Going Through the Paper for Coherence and Comprehension:
Going through their paper to check out its coherence and comprehension is also a necessary step as it gets students the idea if the paper is complete and ready for presentation to the teacher.

Formatting the Paper:
Students need to format the paper according to the guidelines given by the teacher as it is necessary for submission. If the paper has not been formatted the right way, it will not get them good results because teachers expect the paper to be written on a given format which makes understanding and comprehension better.

Presentation:
Presentation of the paper is a key step and it should be done exactly as the teachers have asked for. If they want a hard copy, students must get the paper printed on an A4 size paper and get it them but if they are asking for a soft copy, email is the best option. All these steps will help students write the best thesis in just a week and attain success in class.

How can I make copies?

The 7760 isn't a copier. You can make multiple copies of whatever you're printing, but but it can't make a copy of a paper document.

The paper loading instructions begin on page 8 of the basics guide. If you need the manuals, you may download them from here.

Instructions will appear.... starting like this... (i used C/P, and it may not come out slearly after I submit this answer)

Issue: How do I specify the paper size and type?
Solution: Specifying the Paper Size and Type

Specifying the Paper Size and Type note_white.gif
  • When making copies on LTR-size paper after having continuously copied on paper smaller than LTR-size paper, the copies may be dirty. To prevent copies from being dirty, wait about 1 minute before making copies.
  • The paper in the multi-purpose feeder is fed prior to the paper in the cassette.
  • The settings changed in the Menu do not return automatically to the settings you set previously. Change to the previous settings again if necessary.
  • When making copies of a small size or heavy paper*, etc., the copy speed may be slightly slower than usual.
*The paper type should be selected in the Menu.
  • If you intend to make a copy and print with a thermal transfer printer using the same sheet of paper, make the copy first. Failure to do so may make copies dirty or cause a paper jam.
  • When copying onto transparencies, remove each transparency from the output tray as it is output.

Specifying the Paper Size At the factory, the paper size has already been set to [LTR]. Normally, you can make copies in this setting. When making copies on other sizes of paper, you need to specify the paper size according to the following.

  1. Press <Menu>.

  2. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [COMMON SETTINGS], then press <Set>.
  3. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER SETTINGS], then press <Set>.

  4. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER SIZE], then press <Set>.

  5. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select the appropriate paper size (LTR, LGL, EXECUTIV, A4, B5, ENVELOPE, or FREE SIZE), then press <Set>.
    paper_settings_1_paper_size.gif

black_dot.gif When [ENVELOPE] is selected: white_square.gif Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select the type of envelopes (COM10, MONARCH, DL, or ISO-C5), then press <Set>.
black_dot.gif When [FREE SIZE] is selected: white_square.gif Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [VERTICAL SIZE] or [HORIZONTAL SIZE], then press <Set>. white_square.gif Use the numeric keys, or press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to specify vertical and horizontal sizes of the paper in millimeters (mm).
Available range in [VERTICAL SIZE]: 127 mm to 356 mm (5" to 14")
Available range in [HORIZONTAL SIZE]: 76 mm to 216 mm (3" to 8 1/2") white_square.gif Press <Set>. Repeat the steps above to specify both vertical and horizontal sizes of the paper.

  6. Press <Stop/Reset> to return to the standby display.

Specifying the Paper Type [PLAIN PAPER] is selected as the default paper type. When making copies on paper other than plain paper, you can specify the paper type according to the following. Specifying the paper type can prevent poor copy quality, or the printout not being printed correctly.

  1. Press <Menu>.

  2. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [COMMON SETTINGS], then press <Set>.

  3. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER SETTINGS], then press <Set>.

  4. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER TYPE], then press <Set>.

  5. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select the appropriate paper type, then press <Set>.
    paper_settings_2_paper_type.gif

You can select from the following paper types: - Plain paper (17 lb to 24 lb (64 g/m2 to 90 g/m2 )): [PLAIN PAPER] - Heavy paper (25 lb to 34 lb (91 g/m2 to 128 g/m2 )): [HEAVY PAPER], [HEAVY PAPER H]*1 - Transparency: [TRANSPARENCY] - Label*2 : [HEAVY PAPER], [HEAVY PAPER H]*1 - Envelope: [HEAVY PAPER], [HEAVY PAPER H]*1*1 If print fixing is not sufficient when printed with [HEAVY PAPER] selected, select [HEAVY PAPER H].
*2 A label that can be loaded in the cassette is a standard type (label standard card) only.

  6. Press <Stop/Reset> to return to the standby display.

HP Officejet J5740 all-in-one. Paper continues to jam even though we clear the jam and align again and again. When we try to copy again, it says paper jam. If we push OK, the paper will feed through, but...

Try the link above. I researched your problem. It seems to me that you may either :

a) Have some small paper stuck in the rollers, or
b) need to clean your rollers,or
c) just need to reset the paper jam message.

Either way, the link above should take you right to where you need to go. If it doesn't , just go to HP.com and then their support section , type in your printer's model, and it will take you there.

Good luck !
