How to reset fuser unit in printer hp laserjet 4250

turn the printer off for at least 20 minutes, then cycle power. If the 50.2 fuser error occurs again, you may need to replace the entire fuser assembly OR you will need to replace the power supply.

Xerox 6280 gets error message replace fuser kit, it was replaced and still has the same message

This is an easy one.

The original fuser supplied with the printer DOES NOT have a counter chip. Instead, the PRINTER assumes that when the number of pages printed reaches the level at which the fuser needs to be replaced, the printer issued the REPLACE FUSER message.

If you replace the fuser with another that has come OUT OF a new printer (i.e. a 'PULL' from a new unused printer), since it has no counter chip of it's own, the printer assumes the fuser pagecount is the same as the printer pagecount (because there is no information to read from a fuser chip), and still wants the fuser to be replaced.

A new REPLACEMENT fuser from XEROX, or a CORRECTLY refurbished fuser WILL have a counter chip, and therefore clear the REPLACE FUSER message.

My DC440ST have a code U4-2 fuser overtemperature, and display says print engine fault?? please help me

You will need to either rebuild or replace the fuser. Much easier to replace.
Google a business called "the parts drop" . Call and talk to Britt. He will have what you need.
But a U4-2 normally means the thermistors and thermostats need replaced, normally by that time the heat and pressure rolls are worn out.
Which is why I say an entire new fuser would probably be the best route.
Just a couple of thumb screws to replacing it.

I have an error code 50.2 it says i need to remove the fuser ,, where is the fuser located

http://www.feedroller.com/Store/Service%20Manual/LaserJet%204345%20MFP%20sm.pdf

This a link to a 4345 service manual. Fuser is in removal and replacement/user replaceable parts. A 50.2 is the fuser is not warming up to temp. A replacement may ne needed. If the fuser was just replaced you would want to check this pdf

Error 58.04

This is from the service manual and should help you determine if you need to call in for service. If is in warranty I would anyways since the fuser would be covered if at fault.

58.04 ERROR To continue turn off then on. The low-voltage power supply has experienced an error.
1. Reinstall the fuser. Check the connector
(J1901) between the fuser and product.
Replace the cable or fixing unit if the
connector is damaged.
2. Reconnect the connectors of the fuser
control PCA (J303, J305) and the DC
controller PCA (J107).
3. Replace the fuser. See Fuser
on page 191.

Paper jam problem in laser printer 4100

if this happens every time you need to replace the fuser. but there is a possibility it could be the main gear drive assembly, 9 times out of 10 it's the fuser. a gear on the fuser usually breaks a few teeth. the fuser is very easy to replace and is a part that will eventually need replacing on all printers.
