SOURCE: Lines on Paper
Under the drum there is a thin ****-glass. Make sure there is nothing on the glass. Do not use compressed air to remove the debris from the glass. Use a dust cloth or such. Using air will blow the debris into the laser unit and it will have to be taken apart to be cleaned.

I was going crazy! Had a tech come in and look at the machine - needless to say he did NOTHING! A friend came over and was trying different things. It was that the "rack" that the toner cartridges sit in was not fully seated - once he pushed down a little and heard it "click" I had no more black streaks. AMAZING

SOURCE: BIG BLACK STREAK ON PAPER
If you're experiencing horizontal streaks, and already tried changing cartridges but that don't help, look in the bottom of the paper tray. If that small metal ground terminal gets ditry or bent, that could be the cause.
