Question about Fujitsu LifeBook AH530 Pentium Dual-Core P6000 1.86GHz 4GB 320GB DVD?RW 15.6 LED Win7 Home w/Webca... (FPCR33731) PC Notebook
Had to fit a new screen watch tutorial on outube, all went well until we went to use keyboard, the secure ribbon clip which goes to a connector with pins was not in properly so he tried again and it snapped in half,is this a minor thing to fix or do we need a whole new mother board, need advice ASAP, not our laptop!!
A replacement motherboard is required unless you can buy a faulty one from flea bay for next to nothing and take the clip from it. In the mean time, use a wireless keyboard. They are very inexpensive.

Has the Laptop been opened before? Usually a Laptop HDD just plugs into the connection, there are no cable connection connected directly to the HDD? The HDD may be Bad/Failed , remove and test.
