Question about LG LFX25971ST Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator
Error code dH on front panel, unplugging frig and replugging in, resets the display. Then reappears 4 hours later Now the refrigerator is warm while the freezer is still cold.
You have a defrost issue. Thus the code.Check the back wall of the freezer section. Do you see frost? Yes means that the sensor or the heater is shorted? The control seems fine but it could be bad. Can't tell with out tests being preformed. Usually the sensor that goes bad. I can help you if you are up to disassembling and testing. Do you have tools and a multimeter?

Hi. You have an Error Defrost Heater. Its taking too long for the heater sensor to open the circuit during defrost. You normally replace the heater, heater sensor and circuit board(motherboard) located on the back of the refrigerator in this situation. Check your mollex plugs and make sure they are connected tightly at the evaporator coil area. Sometimes they come loose. I reccommend replacing the heater and heater sensor located top right on the evaporator coil. This should take care of the problem. Need parts see me on ebay as user, themackshack. Good luck, Mack

I'm no major appliance repairman. However, after reading several posts, I investigated the issue further since I received an ER FF on the front panel. I have a LFX25960SW refrigerator. I pulled the top and bottom baskets out, and was able to take the back panel out from inside. There was a solid block of ice built up around both fans and wires. I took a blow dryer and gradually melted the ice around the fans and wires. Then, as I was able, I pulled the remaining ice chunks off of the wires. I put the thing back together and it cleared the message. My wife says no more LG appliances for us. :)

had the same ERDH error code, and my refrigerator began to warm up. I replaced
the defrost thermostat assembly part # 6615JB2005H which is located inside the
freezer, on the right side behind the white plastic panel.

inside the freezer, including the slide rails / tracks mounted on the sides of
the freezer. Be careful when removing the rear white panel because an
evaporator fan is mounted on the back of it and plugs into the back left side
