Question about Debbie Bliss Yarn Crafts & Hobbies

Open Question

Tuniisian crochet.learner. Pattern says ; pick up st in 1st space( increases 1/2 st at beg of row).....pick up st under outer 2 vertical bars (increases 1/2 st at end of row.) How do I make this 1/2 st - always finish up with 2 sts. . Book is Teach yourself Tunisian crochet by Nancy Nehring - haven't had any luck finding her. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you Daphne .

Hi there

The normal way to correct and fix errors in software problem is to uninstall and reinstall the software. Have you tried this solution, if not please try it?

Another way, if you are using a computer when sewing, maybe there is problem in windows registry. http://download.cnet.com/Free-Window-Registry-Repair/3000-2086_4-10606555.html.

I will help fix errors in your computer when sewing is programs. I believe it received wrong command from the computer and need to fix the error.

Chain 2 then in the next SC (of the row below), make the combination stitch. So, if the previous row has a bunch of SC, you would make the stitches leading up to the Chain 2. Then Chain 2 and in the next SC, make the 1SC, 1 HDC, ! DC.

When following a tunisian crochet pattern, do i follow each row trice, once forward and once back?or do I just follow it as instructed: row one row 2 etc?


Each row is worked forward to pick up and then back to finish. Is this a sewing question? Each row is a two part.

I don't understand this row...increase pattern worked over 4 stunt he's as follows: KFB 1st st, KFB 2nd st, K1, KFB 4th st, repeat this increase pattern to end.


Kfb means you are going to k the stich and before you pull it off of your left needle take the right needle and bring it to the back and under the yarn and knit it again. You will make two stitches from the one.

Ok, so do what it says... put your next stitch in the 81st stitch of the previous row.

HDC=half double crochet.

Want to change a hand crochet pattern for an afghan and make it alternating rows of two different hand crochet stitches;


After the Shell row... chain 2,skip 1, then begin your double crochet.

May I suggest that you find a crochet forum or video on youtube? Lots of things to learn on Youtube. ;)
