You should be able to download the drivers free from the acer website for your computer.

install audio driver, or make sure it's not muted

Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure youselect the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers youthat require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on yourlaptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -

check that the sound is not just switched off (bottom right of screen) if not try a system restore to the point when it was last working. if this fails go to acer web site (www.acer.com) and down load the sound driver from there.they are all free.

appropriete driver may not be installed. use your motherboard cd to installm them. if you do not have it try to find somone else who has the same model as your and if they do not work again go and ask for a Foxcom motherboard cd from a computer specialist. it is suitable for most motherboards and it will install all the necessary drivers for sound, vga, adapters and so on and so forth.

this is called power-on password. plz remove ur cemos battery and put it down for about 2-4 hours and then put it back into ur laptop. hope it solves ur problem

Generally you don't need the Optical drive driver. Windows XP has built in drivers to support them. If you tell the exact problem then may be we can help
