Question about Panasonic TCP50VT25 50 in HDTVReady Plasma TV
Screen went blank and power light just blinks 10 times over and over
You need to replace the blown capacitors on your PSB-power supply board. A soldering kit w/flux from harbor freight or radio shack and and about a dozen new Thru-hole caps about 2V higher than the ones your are pulling out.. Or if that isn't to your liking you can just buy a refurbed board on ebay shopjmmy or partsstore. You will need to remove the back panel and pull out the PSB disconnect a few wire harness and some ribbon cables and a few screws the board will pop right out. The board with be printed and say Power Supply with the REV number (part number) printed on it. That's the one you need to look for. If you want to replace the caps yourself you'll visibly see the blown caps they should be completely flat (X) top view no puffs or bulges. It's pretty simple to remove them and solder some new ones in.

SOURCE: Power light blinks 10 times
You have the same problem i have. My Tv just did the same thing 3 nights ago. I unplugged the set, and let it sit ofr about 6 hours, and then tried it again. It turned on and played, but repeated the problem after about 20 or 30 minutes. So far all my research has led me to believe that its a power supply issue. Problem is, there are 5 boards in the tv with seperate pwer supplies, and the 10 red flashes indicate that its all of them. :-(. Im shopping for a new TV, and It wont be a panasonic this time.

Most problems with TV not turning ON is a power supply related problem. The relay click are a normal process that powers up the circuit boards. Right now the TV is most likely in " Protection Mode ". The TV detected a bad circuit board and it will prevent the TV from fully turning ON. This keeps the other circuit board from being damaged. The power light blinking is a code.
If by chance the TV is still under warranty, go that route.
If not under warranty and If you have some electronic experience, if you can find and purchase a Service Manual over the internet. This will help you diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you circuit diagrams, blinking light codes, test points, and part# lists. Usually, cost under $20.
I hope I shed some light on the subject for you.
