F3 error code on Kenmore 911-45569690

Yep F3 I dont even have to look that up fault with oven tempreture sensor. If you perform an ohms test on it at room tempreture should read between 1000-1100 ohms if less then replace. Thanks again

Electric oven not heating

Hello would you happen to have the make and model number of your electric oven? There are many differences in many different units and I always try to be exact on my solutions to the customers specific appliance instead of just giving a general solution. Check the oven tempreture sensor and perform a ohms test on the sensor at room tempreture the sensor should read between 1000-1100 ohms. If it were less then this then you would replace the sensor. You can also perform a continuity test on your element as well which would assure that there are no break spots in the element. I await your reply
Thank you
Rick

Hi my whirpool oven is stating F 03 what do i have to do? Thanks

Hello,
Usually the F-03 error code means you have a bad oven tempreture sensor. To test the tempreture sensor you would use a multimeter set to ohms. At room tempreture the sensor should read between 1000-1100 ohms any less then this and you would replace the oven tempreture sensor in the unit. If you have any further questions message me back. Please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future. Thanks
Rick
p.s I also looked afterwards in your service manual and the F-03 error code does refer to the oven tempreture sensor

F2 error display on kenmore oven model 911.47869. Bottom element not working but has continuity on ohmmeter. Top element working. Oven sensor has continuity on ohmmeter too. What else to check???

Hello, That is great that the oven tempreture sensor has continuity but you would need to do an ohms test on the sensor itself and it should read at room tempreture between 1000-1100 ohms any less then this and you would replace the sensor. If you did have between the proper amount of ohms on the tempreture sensor you would then look at replaceing the control board but most likely in your unit it is due to a bad oven tempreture sensor. If you have any further questions message me back also make sure you unplug the sensor and the oven before performing this test. Thanks Rick

We are bakeing and every time we set it in a couple it shuts down and F_3 apears what would cause this?thanks 4 help

first thing to do would be to test the oven tempreture sensor by conducting an ohms test on it at room tempreture should be reading between 1000-1100 ohms if it were less then replace it this fixes the f3 error code only 90 percent of the time on other occasions it could be both the tempreture sensor and the control board 10 percent of the time but seeing how the tempreture control sensor is far cheaper test that first and if it fails replace the sensor and also make sure you check the wiring to the sensor and to the control as well it says directly in your service manual this

F3 Open oven temperature sensor Check wiring harness, replace oven temperature sensor if necessary

if you have any further questions message me back and please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations Thanks again Rick

Oven not baking correctly, cakes overdone on outside and middle is real gooey. Checked temps with fluke digital meter @ 350 convect (fan running) 1st cycle....High 393 Low 326 2nd cycle... " ...

check your oven tempreture sensor do an ohms test on it should be reading between 1000-1100 ohms also you can do an ampere reading on the ignitor itself should be drawing between 3-3.3 amps any less would constitute a weak ignitor and would also cause a similar issue but your unit is heating well past the amount that you are presetting I would check the oven tempreture sensor first and if it gives a low reading of below 1000 replace the sensor itself your unit is getting to hot at first which would lead me to the sensor first whereas with an ignitor being weak it would take longer to relight the ignitor and the tempreture would fall much lower then 320 If you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations in the future Thanks again Rick

OVEN DOES WANT TO GET TO SET TEMP.

Do you mean oven doesnt want to get to set tempreture in this case you would test the oven tempreture sensor with an ohm meter between 65-80 degrees inside tempt should be reading between 1000-1100 ohms any less of a fluctuation and you would replace the sensor if you have any further questions message me back Thanks again Rick

I have a commercial garland air deck gas oven model G56PB its not staying heated to the set temp. it will heat up to the set temp. then five minutes later the tempreture will drop and will not heat up to...

I have seen Garland's have issues with the pilot light. see if you can watch the cycle. It may takes several minutes. I have seen where the pilot actually lifts off the pilot assembly and go out and cause oven to fail. Turning off and on resets the failure and sometimes it will light. Start there and be patient.

have you replaced the tempreture sensor? usually faulty tempreture sensor will cause your heat to either be to high or to low

BOTTOM OVEN GOES OFF AFTER TEN MINUTES THEN TURNS ON WHEN IT COOLS DOWN

you have to be able to check the ignitor in the lower oven sounds like you have a weak ignitor when this happens it is taking to long for the oven to light and when it reaches to a tempreture it shuts off the ignitor in which case when it trys to reach to the tempreture that you have set it trys to ingnite again look to buy a new ignitor
