"The line input is disconnected" it means you don't have a device (microphone) plug in to your computer. Please check if the speakers are properly connected to your computer. Also, please check the Sound section in the Control Panel.

Ok, well first reboot your PC, and see if this brings back your sound. This is a common event when editing video, or processor intensive tasks. Sometimes it can "Crash" and muck, the drivers up. Now if you reboot, and find that you still don't have Audio, Then you need to reinstall your Realtek Audio manager and driver. If you do not have this go to link below
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=3165&ver=#anchor_os
install as Administrator.

My audio on my pc is not working says no audio output device found i have a hp paVILION A6177C DESKTOP RUNNING WINDOWS VISTA

The problem here why there's no audio device detected on your system , the software or driver for the audio device is not installed on your computer system, so that's what we're going to do.
I will provide you here a link for the direct download of the audio device of your computer, so just download the audio driver and then once done you need to install the software. This is a executable file so once done downloading run the software to automatically install it to your computer and finally restart the computer to complete the installation.

Here is the link for the audio software that you need.
