I would never encrypt my data on a hard drive. But then I've got nothing to hide. Encrypting a HD makes it so hard to fix when problems arise. Call or contact McAfee.

My pen doesen't work in my portable with vista but works in a computer with windows 7

Hello

Did you encrypt the USB memory drive while it was in the Windows 7 computer? This would prevent any other computer from seeing the USB drive.

Try using the drive on another comptuer - if the 3rd PC fails to read the drive, put it back in the Windows 7 computer and remove the data encryption from the drive.

The following link is from Microsoft TechNet and provides details on how to enable and disable BitLocker encryption from drives.
