Question about Ben Sherman R294.00BS Mens All Black Watch

Open Question

Keeping time I have a Ben Sherman R294 which was bought just before Christmas 2013 as a present. It seems to keep losing time, and can be several days out (and hours) if left for a while. Is this a problem with the watch, or battery, or a common issue that can be solved?

SOURCE: I bought Ben Sherman R424 watch from Amazon

Solution 1 seems a little off for mine it's the bottom right button you hold in which brings up the date and then the country its set to starts flashing. Then the bottom left hand button to move to the time. Use the top right button to scroll and left bottom to move to the next input. When your done push the bottom right once.
Hope this helps.

CANNOT REMOVE LINK FROM BEN SHERMAN WATCH

If it's similar to my Ben Sherman watch it will have what looks like a screw on one side. It is in fact not a screw but the 2 sides of the split pin - which you simply push out using a map pin, small strong screwdriver, or similar. If you look inside the links you should find arrows to indicate which direction to push the pins out - usually pushing the end opposite the "screw" end. Note: It takes a fair strength to get the split pins moving.

My Stauer Atomic won't stay connected to time signal

These watches only need to see a signal several times a day, not necessarily continuously.

If it keeps good time, don't worry about it.

Bulova has mechanical day/date display near 3 o'clock position, electronic watch (quartz I presume) less than 3 yrs old. Started losing time. I assumed the original battery needed to be replaced. Battery...

I believe you are just outside your warranty. Its time to see a watch maker/technician about repairing the watch. Often times slowing is as easy to fix as lubricating the movement and forcing the gear train through the use of a cyclonic device. This fix takes minutes and is very cost effective. If the slowing is due t circuit board issues or a more sever gear train problem then the movement will need to be overhauled. I suggest comparing this cost to the cost of a replacement movement.

Luminox 3001 watch not keeping time

Because of the way they work, it's quite hard for quartz movements to run consistently slow - so if you find one getting behind, it's usually a sign that it's stopping intermittently. It would do no harm to check that the crown is properly pushed in after you've reset it, but my guess is that the watch will benefit from a new battery. A.
