Hp 32sII enter degrees minutes seconds

According to the "HP 32SII RPN Scientific Calculator Owner's Manual" (at the link below), you just need to treat degrees, minutes, and seconds conversions as hours, minutes, and seconds. Use the left-shift and right-shift keys together with the 5 key to convert to decimal-fraction form (D.d format) and to minutes-seconds form (DD.MMSSss), respectively.

How to switch from the decimal degree to degrees, minutes, seconds

Keys 1. I displays the following menu that lets you change the angle mode setting to DEG, RAD, and GRD without affecting the value in the display. DEG Sets degree mode. RAD Sets radian mode. GRD Sets gradient mode. The default setting is DEG. 2. = displays a menu that lets you specify the unit of an angle. º Specifies degrees. å Specifies minutes. æ Specifies seconds. r Specifies radians. g Specifies gradients. DMS Lets you convert an angle from decimal degrees to DMS notation. Notes · The examples on the transparency masters assume all default settings. · Angles with a trig function ignore the angle mode setting and display results in the original unit. Otherwise, angles (without a trig function) are converted and displayed according to the angle mode setting. · You enter decimal-degree angles the same as you would any other number. · For decimal/DMS conversions, the calculator interprets all values as degrees, regardless of the angle-unit setting. · DMS angles are entered as º (degrees), ´ (minutes), and ´´ (seconds You watched 2 videos that were 2:05 (2 hours and 5 minutes) and 1:46 (1 hour and 46 minutes) in length. Converting degrees and minutes and seconds to radians

Hello,
With the TI8x/TI8xPlus you can enter an angle in degrees (Angle mode must be set to degrees) and convert it into DMS representation the following way. Exemple
18.675 [2nd][ANGLE][4] [ENTER] gives 18deg 40' 30''
If Angle [MODE] is set to degrees you can enter a number in radians and convert it into degrees. Exemple How many degrees are ther in 1rad ?
[1][2nd][ANGLE][3] display 1 with a small r as superscrit. Pressing [ENTER] yields 57.29577951

To convert 1rad into DMS, takes a little effort but can be done: you have
to convert radians to degrees and the result [ANS] into DMS.

You cannot use an angle written in DMS in any calculation.
But if you want to convert an angle from degrees to radians enter your number and divide by 57.29577951

Hope it helps
