I need the program codes for my yamaha rav 331 remote control to program it to my sony tv

I uploaded the list of remote codes here: RAV331 Remote Codes. I hope this helps- it took me an hour to find the stupid CD that came with my receiver and remote!! As for steps to program: Press the CODE SET button, the LED will blink twice. Then press the input button you want to control (HDMI1, 2, etc...) or the power button down in the TV section at the bottom of the remote. The LED will blink at you again. Then enter the 4 digit code you find in the list of devices and the LED will blink several times to let you know you've set the code. Try powering on/off your device; if it doesn't work, try another code using the same steps!

Bought a vizio tv works good it but the volume control is real hard to get it to pick up every thing else works ok. It has the right code in.

Hey sherryg98, it sounds like you have a right code, but may not be a code to give full functionality as there are many codes for a Vizio TV.

You can check out this link for more info on codes: http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/remote-setup

Some codes you can try are 627, 766, 505, 006, 232, 458, 500, 670, 678. Depending on the model of your remote there may be different codes available. I've given the steps to address a remote below just in case.

Addressing Remote to TV:

1.) Press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.
3.) Enter code and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times.
4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if working.
5.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

If you need any further assistance let me know here or email me at thomas.faust@dishnetwork.com

I need the universal codes for my verizon fios remote, otherwise another recommendation of a universal remote that will operate my tv.

Setting up the Philips RC 144 remote if the remote codes are invalid or unknown If you do not know the remote codes for a device, or if you've tried all the listed remote codes for your device and none of them work, you can search for the correct remote code by following the steps below.

Note: These steps only apply to the Philips RC 144 Remote Control. If this is not the make and model of your remote, go to the supported remote control models page and find the instructions for your specific remote control.

Searching for a Device Code
  1. Turn on the device you want to program into your remote, for example if you are programming your remote to control your TV, then turn on the TV.

  2. Press and hold the device button for the device you turned on in step 1 (DVD, AUX, TV, STB) and press OK. Release both buttons.

    The mode buttons blink twice.

  3. Press 922.

  4. Point the remote control toward the device you are setting up and press the upper part of the Play button.

  5. Press the Fast Forward button. If the device you are setting up does not turn off, keep pressing the Fast Forward button until the device powers off. (You can use the Rewind button to go back, if necessary.)

  6. When the device powers off then you've found the correct code for that device. Press OK to assign the code in your remote control.

  7. Note:
There are over 200 possible combinations for TV and DVD codes. The most common codes are tried first but you may still need to press the Fast Forward or Rewind buttons over 200 times to find the correct code for your device.

If you reach the end of the list of codes, the entire remote flashes twice and returns to normal operation. You can exit programming at any time by pressing the Exit button.

I am trying to find a remote code for the Cox 7820 remote, that will fully operate my Hannspree tv. The codes provided by Cox will operate most of the TV functions, on the correct buttons, all except for...

I have a Hannspree 42" LCD and I have the exact same problem, the code worked to control all functions except "Power On". I checked the Hannspree web site's support section, it says that their TVs will not work with a universal remote unless you have DirecTV. So why does everything work except to turn it on if they claim their TVs do not work with other remotes?

Need steps to do code search or enter codes for durabrand tv

Hello www_pokymom1,

Try this for the auto code search,

1
Turn on the component you want to program.
  • Step 2 Press and release the component button on your remote that corresponds to the component you want the remote to operate (TV, VCR, etc.). The illuminated ON-OFF button will turn on and remain on.
  • Step 3 Press both the component and the ON-OFF buttons. The illuminated ON-OFF button will turn off, and then will come back on.
  • Step 4 Release both buttons after the ON-OFF button turns back on. The button should remain illuminated.
  • Step 5 Press and release the PLAY button. If the component does not respond after five seconds, continue to press the PLAY button every five seconds until the component turns off.
  • Step 6 Press and release the REVERSE button when the component turns off, then wait to see if the component turns on again.
  • Step 7 Press and release the STOP button to save the new code.

    Need operating manual

if you are asking about the ” innovage” large tv remote… you do not need a code booklet.
    maunally turn your tv on
point the remote at the tv
    push ” code search”
    a red button will blink
    push the ” TV” button
then push the upper right botton with a circle and line on it…
the red burron will blink during each push…
at some point the tv will turn off…
    push the “enter” button
the tv will then work with the remote.
it it takes too long to catch so to speak…
do not turn the TV off…
during the process… go ahead and push search code again..then TV
then on/off botton sometimes this speeds up the process.
i’ve found every once in a while the large remote stops responding to the on/off button…
    just repeat the steps.

We hope this helps please rate/vote for me if it does thanks
