Question about Gateway Sealed Acer 15.6" Laptop Pc nv57h77u
I have no idea how to remove motherboard to replace CPU on a NV57H77u model, I opened laptop and remove keyboard, but it seems that it has to be completely disassembled to just replace the CPU (for a newer one), any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
I could not find any detailed instructions for your laptop. My only tip is to keep track of where you are taking screws from as they will be different sizes and lengths.
Take your time and remove all the screws and if a part will not open, there may be a hidden screw.
Also, upgrading laptop CPUs is not a common practice. If you have never done this, I would not recommend it.
