Are you sure you have to pull or push? It looks to me like you just slide the bobbin winder spindle to the right to engage.

Here's a manual for your machine... I'm sure more specific info is in there.

I have lost my manual for my elna supermatic seger, where can I find one?

Hi Glen, not sure if you mean sewer, or serger. The Elna Supermatic sewing machine manual is available at this link: http://www.clawges.com/sewing/Elna_manual/index.html

Trust this is what you are looking for.

Singer 3270c stops sewing in the middle of sewing and doesn't start up for a while

How is your power cord? Has it been stored wound tightly? Take it in for service because it may overheat and destroy the machine. I hope that it is under warranty or that it won't cost you anything to diagnose it, but something is very wrong.

Babylock seger machine keep breaking the left side needle.

Try rethreading the machine, and make sure the thread is not wrapped around anything. Then check the tension for the needles. Run a few inches of chainstich off slowly, while watching the thread and loopers make the loops over the finger. Your threads may be in the wrong position, or underneath the wrong parts to start.
