Using D104 mike on Yaesu FT-847 radio

Check the wiring diagram online for both. It's a pretty simple connection setup.. Look at mods.dk for possible answers.

SOURCE: INTERCHANGE MODULE
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you are talking about the band modules, right? If so it will accept some in the 6m,2m,and a couple of the 70cm bands. The model numbers I know it will accept are as follows: FEX-767-2,-6,-70A and -70B. If your module is one of these they are interchangeable. BTW, all of these modules are presently discontinued I'm sorry to say. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Hi, I have a Yaesu
First of all, thank you very much for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs.
You will probably NOT be able to use those particular radios to communicate with each other. They generally operate on different frequencies ranges.
The Yaesu FT2900R operates in the 144 MHz - 174 MHz range, while the Motorola Talkabouts usually operate in the 462 MHz - 468 MHz range.
Here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER MANUALS for those models of radios as well as some additional general operating frequency information about the Motorola Talkabouts:
To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the links, which are the underlined and blue highlighted sections of text just above.
This will open new web browser pages automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the websites indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manuals.
Select the OPEN THE FILE option to see the manual if prompted.
You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this type of utility pre-installed.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.
I truly hope that was helpful to you.
Good luck and take care.
