WATTAGE AND CU.FT IS UP TO YOU. JUST MAKE SURE WHAT YOU GET FITS LIKE THE OLD ONE DID DIMENSIONS WISE. THE HIGHER THE WATTAGE THE FASTER THEY COOK AND HEAT FOOD UP.

OK, if everything, including the fan, is working, this will confirm Magnetron failuer. you cannot reset the function of a failed Magnetron heating unit. replace this failed device asap if possible.

If the part is located near a potential 'hot-spot' it may be a thermal device and possibly a thermal fuse.
Once opened, they don't self-heal.
If you describe the part, I may be able to identify it better.
