to fix this you will need to erase all the data on the ipod(s).
plug
the ipod into the computer using the included usb cable. open itunes
(if it doesn't open automatically) in the column on the left side of
the window there is an icon showing your ipod's name. click on it then
click on the button that says "restore ipod"
WARNING: this will erase all the content on the ipod (you can put it back on later)
it
will ask you to confirm. hit ok and keep your ipod plugged in as it
restores it to it original state. pick the language you prefer and then
load your music back on the device
well you can conpleatly restore it by no luging it in and holding the power buton for 3 seconds then with out leting go of the power buton hold the home buton for 10 seconds then let go of the power buton and just hold the home buton for a further 30 seconds.....
after you have done this plug it in to your computer with iTunes allready running and a icon should say unresponcive ipod or somethin along those lines just click RESTORE

Now when I plug it into my computer (my computer and I-tunes) doesnt recognize that its even plugged in. Cant be the usb cable or the port because when I plug in my kids i-touches they work fine. I can still use it through wi-fi for the internet etc but no music or files on it? HELP!!!!
