How do I get he handle to release to allow vacuuming

Hi, it's Jeremy from Crucial Vacuum.

If the vacuum wont release by stepping on the head of the vacuum and pulling down there may be an issue with the locking mechanism. To solve this please follow the Steps below:

1) Place the vacuum either on its side or standing upside down.
2) With the back of the vacuum being the closest side to you, take a knife or screwdriver and insert it just to the right of the hose connection. You should see a small lever inside. Lift that lever and your vacuum should recline.

You can purchase direct your replacement Dyson DC28 parts from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for readers, use code: FIXYA10

How to test for bad transformer

  1. To test a transformer you need to know what type of transformer it is first. There is a step up transformer which steps the voltage up and a step down transformer which steps the voltage down.
  2. You will still test the transformers the same way for step up and step down transformers. If it is a step up transformer apply the incoming power to the transformer or plug it up. Now take your multimeter and place it on the AC volt scale and test the voltage if the voltage on the data plate says the transformer should step up to 220 volts and it doesn't then your transformer is bad.
  3. Now repeat the same steps for a step down transformer. Plug up the incoming or primary power and test voltage on the outcoming or secondary side the voltage should step down to the proper value. If you don't read any voltage on the secondary or outgoing side then the transformer is bad.
  4. To read the voltage place the two meter leads on the secondary side, or the side you will plug your equipment into. If the secondary side is an outlet then place the two meter leads into the top two slots in the plug and read voltage. You also want to make sure the incoming power is working as well. Otherwise you will be reading a bad reading every time.

Not cooling enough on frigerator side but it still works on freezer side.

Hello Mjorgy,

I understand that you are having a problem with you refrigerator. The freezer is cooling fine, however the fridge side is not cooling enough. This is a common problem with the evaporator coil stops working. When you open the fridge or freezer you should hear a fan running or fell are coming out of the vents to the fridge.

I would love to help you further if you can please post a model number for the unit I will look up where the fan is located and let you know how to get to it in step by step instructions. You should be able to locate the model number in side the compartments on the wall close to the front. It is also located on the rear of the unit. Please post back to this thread so that I may assist you further.

Thank you for choosing

My sony ericsson w595 turns off when i flip open it

Hi,the problem you are experiencing with your phone is as a result of a weak flex connector has to be replaced, here's a detailed solution on how to replace the cable. STEP 1. Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.
  • Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card.
STEP 2. Run something like a credit card under the metal plate at the top of the phone. It is stuck down tight with double sided tape but it will come away with a little force.
  • Starting near the top of the phone, run your credit card along the join of the front cover. When you have released the cover as much as shown below, slide the cover down to remove it (clips hold the cover on at the bottom which will be bent if you don't slide the cover off).
STEP 4 You should now have the front cover removed. Remove the small screw you can see. STEP 5
  • With the slide open halfway, lift the up the part you've just removed the screw from to reveal three ribbon connectors. Each connector has a black latch which you need to flick over the release the ribbon
  • STEP 6
  • You now have the LCD screen removed. You don't need to go any further if you only want to replace the LCD.
  • STEP 7
  • Remove the speaker and connecting ribbon etc. It's just stuck down lightly. Remove the two screws you can see at the top of the phone.
  • STEP 8
  • You now need to lift the keypad up. It's stuck down lightly with double sided tape. Remove the two screws you can see.
  • STEP 9
  • Run your credit card around the join of the grey part of the phone to release a number of clips. Turn the phone over and release a few more clips in the battery compartment.
  • STEP 10
  • Your phone should now look like below. Two small bezels (shown in the picture) will pop off when you remove the back part of the phone. Now remove the two silver screws you can see.
  • STEP 11
  • You can now remove the battery compartment. A ribbon is stuck to the side of this and will peel away quite easily. Remove the two screws you can see.
  • STEP 12
  • The circuit board will now be loose but still connected by a ribbon. Again, flick the black latch over to release the ribbon.
  • STEP 13
  • Disassembly is complete. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.

The on button and arrow button are flashing (cant Print)

Hi. This error means "A carriage jam has occurred".

The steps to correct this problem are (from HP support):

Step one: Move the carriage

1.Lift the top cover of the product.
2.Turn the product off, and then turn it on.
3.Unplug the power cord from the back of the product when the grinding noise starts.
4.Move the carriage towards the middle of the product (this procedure may take a couple of tries to get the timing correct).

Step two: Remove the cartridges

1.Press down lightly on top of the cartridge latch.
2.Pull out the bottom of the latch to unhook it.
3.Slide the print cartridge out of the carriage.
4.Repeat the steps for the other cartridge.
5.Close the top cover.
6.Reconnect the power cord.

Step three: Reinstall the print cartridges

1.Open the printer cover.
2.Wait until the carriage moves to the right side of the printer and is idle and silent.
3.Press down lightly on top of the cartridge latch.
4.Pull out the bottom of the latch to unhook it.
5.Hold the print cartridge so that the copper strips are on the bottom and facing toward the printer, and then slide the print cartridge into the carriage.
* Install the tri-color print cartridge in the left side of the carriage.
* Install the black, photo print cartridge, or the gray photo print cartridge in the right side of the carriage.
NOTE: To easily identify the correct side of the carriage in which to install the print cartridge, match the symbol on the print cartridge label with the symbol above the carriage.

6.Push down on the print cartridge latch until it snaps closed.
7.Lower the cover of the product.

O2 Sensor

Well, Bank 1 is the passenger side of the vehicle. Are you replacing upstream or downstream 02 sensor?

The upstream is in the exhaust manifold. The downstream is further down in the exhaust pipe. Upstream would be designated by the code HO2S1- B1 and the downstream would be indicated HO2S2-B1.

In either case, you basically unplug the wiring connector, use a 7/8 wrench (or an O2 sensor socket which has a groove cut in the side to allow the wiring to not be pinched) and loosen the sensor and install the new one (with anti-seize on the threads) and plug the connector in.

The upstream sensor is pretty easy- the downstream can be a little more difficult, but is not too bad.

Hope this is helpful!!

Remove screws from back of printer. Carefully remove plastic top cover. If necessary write down the steps you have taken so that you won't have difficulties reassembling printer. Once cover removed check small feed roller at back of printer to see if there is any obstruction and also front main rollers.
Place some paper in raer holder to see if it is seating correctly.

If this fails I have further solution .
