Digital scales weigh half of accurate weight

Recalibrate. If that does not take, then there is an issue with the scale. Try installing a new battery since a bad or weak one often results in erroneous readings.

My scale reads full when i turn it on whats wrong

Most scales will have what is called the "TARE" button... push the "TARE" button when nothing is on the scale and it should 'zero-out.'
Once it is zeroed, it should give honest weight readings.

Make sure that you have selected USR1 each time you weigh yourself.
When you stand on the scales it records your measurements against that user ID and holds them in the internal memory of the scales.
When you have taken a few readings and when you are not standing on the scales, insert your USB memory stick (any memory stick will do) and press the SET button. The scales display "USB" and write the data out to the memory stick and gives you a message "END" afterwards. When you insert the memory stick into your computer you can read the data into the Homedics software

This is a new scale. Every time you get on it a new reading?

See if this helps.
Step on gently and stand very still. Step off and press/tap with your foot the center of the scale to reset to 0.0 and step up again and be very still while it reads your weight.
Mine gave a little different weight but after I tried again I had two readings the same and the readings were what I expected. So if in doubt I read twice. If I am very still when I step up mine give same reading.
I hope there is nothing wrong with your new scales.
Happy weighing.

Fat reading accuracy problem

You must not be dehydrated - do not use first thing in the morning or immediately after a workout or after consuming alcohol. Use 3 hours after a meal and after voiding your bladder. Women may experience fluctuations with retaining water, and those on diuretics may see inaccurate readings. You need to weigh yourself without clothes.
