SOURCE: I dropped a ballpoint pen in the filter...how do I

First, unplug the machine. Remove the front panel by prying the top up a little bit and finding the spring catches on either side. Press the spring catches and lift the top. There will be two small screws that go through the side panels into the front near the top. Remove them and the front panel will come off and you should be able to find your pen.

Writing tip on pen will not come out when I twist the bottom

Pull up the top of the pen (with the clip). Remove the refill cartridge and examine it. If it is not damaged put it back in and fasten it in place by twisting. The cartridge comes with a colored plastic top. The cartridge must be inserted with the plastic on.That top must not be removed.

Pc card eject button popped out and won't go back in

I've had that happen before. I just started using the tip of a ballpoint pen to eject the card. Believe me, if it doesn't just slide back on, you might have to disassemble the laptop casing to put it back on...big hassle. I suggest you just use a pen, pencil or something similar to pop out the card.

I have a Corum ballpoint pen retractable, it has flags on the clip, body made of stainless steel, the clip has lost its springyness and is free to open and close without any spring pressure, and also the...

Hi Stuart,

I have the same bp as you. Why donot you ask Corum if it is to be repaired. Maybe they can tell you who the manufacturer of this pen was. I think Delta or Montegrappa was the manufacturer. Mail to [email protected]. She was in 2008 working for Corum when I asked Corum more info about this ballpoint.
