SOURCE: hotpoint aquarius extra manual WMA44 can't find the waste pipe

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate, and remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum, remove and clean plastic filter inside hose.

unscrew the screws in back the what ever has ben lodged should be receaved make sure your legs is balanced out after so many washes they go off balance.

Sometimes a weak or broken spring in the door handle can be the cause of the problem, but you would have to take the door apart to check this.
If you have already fitted a new door lock, then chances are it is the control board, but I would check the door handle first.

Could be a broken spring in the door handle, you would need to take the door apart to check this.

Drum bearing very noisy on my hotpoint wma44 wshing machine


Sounds like the seals have gone as did the ones on mine. It need a complete new spider frame and bearing set as the front bearing had collapsed and groved the bearing spindle. Open the door and try lifting the drum to see if there is any up/down movement.

Wash starts it fills with water then stops and wont wash


problem may just be that drum is not turning so you think program is stopped. try cancelling and select spin program and see if you get spin
