Why car won't crank?

What make vehicle an year an model . You need to look at power distribution diagram an see where those fuse's get B+ voltage from . Code reader saying not connected would suggest the PCM/ECM has no power either . Go to http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . Enter vehicle info . year ,make , model engine size . Then under system click on electrical distribution , subsystem click on power distribution . Then you can trace were power to those fuse's comes from . Do you know how to read a wiring diagram ? go on you tube an check out videos on how to read wiring diagrams .

A Isuzu NPR 4hf1 rotary pump timing marks set

Hi. If it has a rotary pump, the pump needs to be installed with the crank at 49 deg BTDC on the compression stroke cyl 1. Mark dot gear on pump with white paint. Line up dot gear on pump with line on pump bracket and install. Remove PRM sensor from bell housing and check if line on pump gear is still lined up with line on pump bracket.

2002 heritage with fuel injection every thing works but no power coming from fuel pump fuse and fuse is good?

First off testing for power at the pump can be tricky, The pump will only get power for a few seconds when you turn the key to the on position. This is the Fuel prime function. It will also stay powered when the engine is cranking or running. If the car doesnt run, you will either need to have a helper cycle the key (waiting 10 to 15 seconds between key off then on) or have them crank the engine over (for no more than 15 seconds at a time) to see if the pump is being powered, If the pump Still has no power during either of these, there is a wire between the fuse and the pump that needs to be repaired. You will have to physicaly examine the whole wire from fuse box back, If the fuel pump has power during the prime function but during cranking, I would suspect that it is the crank sensor, as this is the primary input to command the fuel pump to continue to run.

Engine cranks no dash lights present

the fuse blew. (they do that to stop a fire.)
check all fuses in both fuse boxes.
at left knee, and in engine bay box.
the CEL must glow, key on, or the ECU power is GONE (FUSE)
CEL = check engine lamp... no CEL no EFI no EFI no start, no spark and no injections.

I need a wiring diagram for 1995 2500 6.5 turbo diesel electric fuel pump circuit

The primary (coils) side of the fuel pump relay is powered by the CRANK fuse (10 Amp) located in the instrument panel fuse block. This fuse is hot ONLY when the ignition switch is in the CRANK position. The secondary (contact) side of the relay is powered by the ECM-B fuse (20 Amp) which is hot at all times. This fuse is located in the engine compartment fuse block. The electric fuel pump in the tank only operates during engine cranking.

I would like a diagram for my ecmb fuse for a 1992 s10 blazer 4x4 4.3 litre engine

Hi, the ECM B fuse powers the ECM and the fuel pump. It's hard to say where the ECM power is used, since it appears as a black box in the schematic. The fuse box or owner's manual may indicate circuits that the fuse powers thru the ECM. If you find you need additional diagrams, please let me know and please specify if you have the VIN W (central point injection) or the VIN Z (throttle body injection) engine.

I have the exact same problem with my HZJ75, have had injectors and pump reconditioned, checked glow pluga and pre-heater timer, all ok...yet still a struggle to start?? PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP.

I thing you repaired old injection pump and injectors
Have you check the pressure from the pump can open the injectors?
I-loose the all injector main pipe from the injection pump only injectors side
2-try to crank the engine just start while engine moving if you see diesel pressure where you loose means injection pump looks good, try to fixed all the pipes while engine cranking if the engine refuse to star injectors needs to resit correct opening pressure.
3-check the injectors pressure follow instruction manual book.
4-Check is any leaks all connections.
5-Check engine compression.

good luck

Cranks but wont start

Engine Cranks But Will Not Start

For an engine to run, you need three things to happen inside the engine. Compression, fuel and ignition, without any one of these components the engine will not run.
Basic Checks:

A. Test Fuses. Test both under hood power distribution center and the fuse panel under dash. This is done with a test light tool. The test light should illuminate on both sides of the fuse, if not the fuse has failed and needs to be replaced.
B. Testing Fuel Pressure Test for proper fuel pressure with a test gauge on the fuel rail, most throttle body injection cars (TBI) are between 13 psi and 17 psi. and most (DPI) direct port inject systems are between 40 psi and 55 psi. If no or little fuel pressure is observed and there is 12 volt power present the fuel pump, the fuel pump needs replacing.
C. Checking Timing Belt Test for compression by removing a spark plug and insert a compression gauge. Crank the engine over about 5 seconds the gauge should read between 125 psi and 165 psi, if no compression is observed remove front engine cover to inspect timing belt or chain. Crank engine to observe cam rotation, if the cam does not rotate the timing belt or chain has failed. (note: if the timing belt drives the water pump it is best to replace the water pump at this time)
D. Test for Injector Pulse Remove injector connector to insert injector test light (node) or volt meter. Observe light flash or gauge pulse while cranking. If light/voltmeter doesn't respond, an ignition distributor/crank angle sensor (CKS) or an ignition module is most likely your problem.
E. Test for Ignition Spark Remove spark plug wire, insert an extra spark plug into end of wire, rest spark plug next to a ground source then crank engine. You should observe a blue spark between the spark plug gap and ground source. If no spark is observed, an ignition coil, ignition rotor or spark plug wires might have failed. (always keep hands away from engine when cranking)
