My samsung galaxy y duos switches itself off

Cell Phone Keeps Shutting Off
Vibrations on dirty battery contacts could be the cause of this problem. Remove the battery and clean the battery contacts with methylated spirits and the battery contacts in the cell phone.

Phone will not charge in charger

Does the phone have an indicator light which should light up when charging? If so, and its not lighting up, investigate the electrical contacts. Usually small pins in the base of the phone. Sometimes bent or maybe debris in socket or could be dirty. They are very low voltage, so no risk but easily interrupted by poor contact.
if no luck, test charger output with test meter - could be a broken charger or electrical fault in the cord.

Help with Sharp Fax UXP100 . When sending a fax they are going very, very slow. What should I troubleshoot? Thx

Check your phone line by removing fax and plugging a normal handset into the line socket and then listen to line. If a line has noise on it, it will slow transmission down, it can also cause wiggly lines on transmitt and receive, if this is the case, it needs to be dealt with by your phone line provider, just report a noisy line

Having the machine set to fine in transmission settings can also cause slow faxs, and a dirty scanner glass can also cause receiver image to have marks on received image but it is normally marks down the page

hope my good deed free for the day helps.

cheers

Intermittant buzz/distortion from receiver through speakers

This could be multiple issues and needs to be diagnosed on site.
Dirty power can cause this, nicks in any speaker wire, faulty speaker, faulty receiver, etc.

I had the same problem. Your connection is dirty. Take a toothbrush and brush the charger receiver vigorously. If you can see that there is some buildup on the connector scrape it off with a knife. This worked for me.

White space in middle of faxes sent or received

Printing irregularites on sent faxes are due to spots or a dirty scanner.
Spaces on received faxes are due to a dirty drum, corona wire, or a failing or improperly installed toner cartridge. A new cartridge should be gently shaken back and forth sideways prior to installation.

Fax not clear

Noisy phone line can cause this or it could be drum cartridge or even fuser, check phone line for noise by listening to it, if noisy report it or put on required filter if using ADSL.

Also test machine when doing a copy, and when printing a report, is there a problem too?

without more info you fault is one of these.. line, drum cartridge , fuser or dirty scan glass (where originals are fed.)
