Question about GE Profile 30" Self-Cleaning Slide-In Electric Range - Black-on-Black
When I start cooking bugs appear under glass that displays temperature and controls for oven. How do we access this area? Also the panel stops working occasionally until we unplug and re plug the appliance. Might be the bugs causing this?

Pull the knobs off, there are nuts under the knobs, unscrew them and slide the panel off, underneath you should be able to get to it,remember, you heat food there and unplug it,dont spray bugspray on it,figure out where they are getting in and put boric acid in the way so they will drag it to their den and kill them, boric acid is better known as cockroach powder, but,it works on all bugs

f 2 code states that oven has exccded 590 deg w/door in unlocked position or 990 f in locked . either the themp prop is bad or the relay in the EOC ( clock ) is welded closed . I would replace the prob first ( less expensive ) then the clock if needed .. **** ..

SOURCE: I have a GE Profile
First, did you unplug the stove or turn off the circuit breaker at the panelboard in your home?
Slide the range out and take the screws out of the upper rear panel at the back of the stove. Then you should be able to remove it.
Hope this helps. If you still can't get it off, please reply back.
