Kenmore elite dryer no heat

You need to replace the heating coil that is usually the problem when you get air and and the tumbler is moving but no drying you can also check the lint catcher and clear out your dryer outgoing vent remove the hose check the dryer vent where the vent hose is connected and the vent going outside the house before changing the heating coil .

check outside of house for any obstructions to the outlet. make sure the vent is clean

Check behind the dryer to make sure the tube running to the exit vent isn't clogged or blocked. Then go out side where the vent runs to and make sure it isn't clogged.

Check the vent on the back. This is indicating a air flow issue. If the vent is clear ohm the heater out check it for continuity.

clean out any lint build up in the exhaust vent tubes
the moister sensor will put the heat in check if clogged up

glow bar igniter ... - thermal fuse ( not all models ) ... - coil on the gas valve ... - gas valve ... - thermostats ... - motor heat switch ... - timer ... - selector switch ... - sensor ... All these will stop it from heating.

It may not be your heating element. Your dryer lint vent pipe out the back of the machine or maybe out the side may be plugged. You have to pull the machine out and clear that pipe or rebuild it out to a soffit vent or static vent if it is in the attic, or out through your crawl space. This will make a huge difference. If that hot air and moisture doesn't get out of the machine it just goes back into your clothes.

Make sure that your vent tube is not kinked or crushed behind the dryer and it all this is ok then you need to change your cycling thermostat. is it gas or electric
