Question about Harmon Kardon AVR 700 A 5.1-channel audio/video receiver with 75W-per-channel output and Dolby and DTS sound
The left speaker is very quiet in all surround modes, but works great in stereo mode. Is this a set up issue or a problem with the unit? This unit is also very finicky with hdmi communications, sometimes everything works together other times it's just sound or video. I have had problems since day one.

Hello. Please be sure that you are plugging your iPod into the tape in, or play, and not into the record out, or record. If you have these reversed, you will greatly lower the signal level going to the amplifier.
