SOURCE: 9E error code on dmt800rhs dishwasher

I also had the 9E error code on my Samsung dishwasher DMT800RHS mmodel. I had to call Samsung and the nearest authorized Samsung service representative came to my house last Tuesday, January 29, 2013. The cost of the call is $100 which really annoyed me off considering the dishwasher is only 1 1/2 years old. Two South Korean guys showed up and to fix the problem just press down on the Heavy, Delicate and Power button at the same time for a few seconds and a menu will appear on the top left hand corner of the panel. Scroll down the menu by pressing the Normal button until you reach "FT" and the dishwasher will automatically fill up and then autimatically drain. If it does not drain then scroll down to "S" and the dishwasher will drain. Thsi should get rid of the 9E error message and your dishwasher will work fine but if not you have to repeat the procedure maybe 2 or 3 times until the 9E error message disappears. If you constantly get the 9E error message then you may need to replace the part which is about $60. The part is extremely sensitive to either hard water or food particles which is why the 9E error message appears. Therefore, scrape your dishes thoroughly so the food particles are minimized and the sensor does not go off which causes the 9E error message.

SOURCE: 9E error code on dmt800rhs dishwasher

I had same 9E low water level error. Removed the lower nozzle, then the plate at that bottom (lots of screws to remove) that covers the float. On the underside of that plate was a thin round piece of rubber that I think you would call a gasket. It was far to big and excess gasket was outside of the groove made for it. The excess was in the area around the float. I figure it was interfering with float operation. I snipped it and retreaded it into the groove. I have not had a 9E error since and have cancelled service call that would have cost me min $104.

How do i fix an SE error code on my Samsung dishwasher

The SE or 5E error code means "Draining Error", which coincides with what you observed. First check the drain hose for an obstruction, especially where it goes into the garbage disposer (and check the garbage disposer port to make sure it is clear too). If that's okay, then you will have to pull the dishwasher out to check the drain pump. Chances are, some foreigh object has gotten into the drain pump, and is blocking or partially blocking the water flow. If everything is OK, then you probably have a bad ECS sensor, and will have to replace it. If most of this is beyond what you want to do, at least check the hose at the garbage disposal end before you call a repairman.

Fixed problem after viewing 93 code but now dishes have brown film or white film. Dishes still dried on food. Have a Samsung DMT800RHS. One suggestion was to get phosphorus which is ******* for deterg

look at the arm that has the water nozzles on it to see if some of them are plugged. Also make sure the screen at the bottom of the machine isn't restricted.

How to find the reason for error LE

If you send me an e-mail address, I will gladly send you the PDF of service and parts manuals for this unit. I paid $15.00 online for them, used them once, and will gladly share!

My limited understanding is this device will detect a leak in the supply line between the sink and the bottom of the dishwasher, which can also trip this code.

Dmt800rhs fills, heats then stops... No error codes HELP

So the main pump doesn't run at all? If so, then you probably have a bad main pump motor, OR you may have something blocking the impeller, OR you may have a bad controller.

How to diagnose the problem

check the outlet pipe to see that the water can flow easily, not bent. It looks like that the dishwasher is unable to drain the water through the hose.

I had this issue; previous owners of our house installed new garbage disposal, but did not punch out the plastic stopper on the disposal where the drain hose connects.
