Hello there, when new filters are fitted usually they are expected to spurt for a little bit before they normalize and begin to flow properly. Dispense water continuously for 10 minutes. This usually arises when the flow of water through the unit not being allowed through properly and usually takes the new filter a couple of minutes to get accustomed to the water flow and get water circulating through all its components hence the spurts. Alternatively you can check to ensure that the water supply is turned on full and the filter is properly fitted. If all of these are in place then the dispense mechanism might be faulty. Checckwater pressure. The 1/4" water supply line should deliver at least 9 ounces of water in 5 seconds. If not, the water pressure is low.
Make sure the dispenser is notlocked. Some models have a lock feature that deactivates the dispenser andcontrol buttons. The lock button is located on the dispenser front cover. This feature controls unintentional dispensing. Press the"Unlock" or "Locked" button to reactivate the dispenser andallow dispenser function. You may need to hold the button for2 to 3 seconds.
A clogged or incorrectly installedwater filter will reduce the water flow to the water dispenser. Check for aproblem with the filter by removing the filter and operating the dispenser. Ifwater begins to flow, then the filter is either clogged or incorrectlyinstalled. A clogged filter will need to be replaced. Thanks.
Do the following:
Flush the water system. Use a sturdy
container to depress and hold the water dispenser lever for
5 seconds, then release it for 5 seconds. Repeat until water
begins to flow. Once water begins to flow, continue depressing
and releasing the dispenser lever (5 seconds on, 5 seconds off)
until a total of 3 gal. (12 L) has been dispensed. This will flush air
from the filter and water dispensing system, and prepare the
water filter for use.
Ensure that the freezer door is closed completely? Close the door firmly.
Ensure that the water shutoff valve is fully open.
Ensure that the water pressure is at least 30 psi (207 kPa)? The water
pressure to the home determines the flow from the dispenser.
Check for any kinks in the home water source line? Straighten the water
Check the water filter. The filter may be clogged or incorrectly installed.

Before you do anything, make sure that the plastic part in the bleach dispenser container is pushed in. Fill with bleach to the "max" line, written on the plastic part. Start the wash cycle and make sure that water goes into the bleach dispenser. Once water flows into the dispenser, the bleach/water mixture rises and should automatically dispense into the washer. We had this same problem. We removed the dispenser unit and took it to the sink. We then filled it with water and it started coming out from the bottom automatically. So sort of suction is caused from the amount of water and it starts to flow. Basically, you aren't adding enough bleach into the dispenser if the water flows into it as the wash cycle runs.
