My fan was making a sound like it was loose but when i went in it didnt feel loose at all. it makes a sound now like when it kicks in it is hitting something. Im not sure what is going. thought it was rubbing on a piece of plastic so I taped it down but that wasnt it either.

Sounds like a bad fan bearing over the processor. Your Gateway is actually made by ACER. They are a very good brand, but are known for fan problems in their laptops. Here is a video of how to properly disassemble your laptop: http://youtu.be/CKVljMrPmCE. Just be sure to wear an anti-static wristband or static from your hands can short-circuit your motherboard. Also, if the fan stops working completely before you get it fixed, turn it off ASAP or your PC will burn up. You can find a replacement fan here: https://www.google.com/search?q=Gateway+NE56R10u&rlz=1C1PRFB_enUS510US510&oq=Gateway+NE56R10u&aqs=chrome..69i57.33076900j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8#q=Gateway+NE56R10u+fan+problems&safe=off&tbm=shop. Good luck.

Rinnai R85 starts to warm then stops and blinks 61??

I went to the Rinnai website and this is what I found for error code 61.
Error Code 61 Problem: Fan failure
Solution: Measure the resistance on the fan motor, check the damaged or loose wiring and connections. Make sure that the fan spins freely.
Sounds like either your fan is broken or something is keeping it from spinning freely.
Hope this helps.

Heater went out

Sounds like the blower motor went out, needs replacing. Possibly something got stuck in the fan blades, but doesn't sound good for the motor. If you take it out and something was jammed in the fan, test the motor with jumper wires from the battery.

When is the fan ment to kick in because i just went out on it it a hot day and was out for about an hour and the fan didnt kick in please help

The fan is thermostatically controlled and the coolant temperature needs to reach the upper level before it will "kick in". Surprisingly as long as the motorcycle is moving forward specially on a fairing type motorcycle the head is dispersed rapidly by the air moving over the radiator fins.
If you were in stop and go traffic with extended idle times then yes the fan will or should kick in.

Both my Goldwings had temperature gauges and were full fairing motorcycles sitting in rush hour traffic I could watch the gauge climb at a traffic light and steadily drop off even at 25mph.

What you may be feeling is the heat rolling out from under the fairing to the rear of the engine which on a hot day and low speeds is enough to feel as if both you and the motorcycle are overheating.

What I've done with my 750 Magna is roll into my drive (on a hot day after being in traffic) leave the ignition on and hit the kill switch, maybe a minute later the fan will kick in for about 40 seconds and shuts off. Just my way of checking.

Another thing on the Fireblade you might not hear the fan over the "normal" engine sound these fans are quiet and that's one reason I did the kill switch shut off so I could hear the fan.

Also the coolant used in a motorcycle is much more efficient then any automotive type and should never be substituted for any automotive type.

Cheers be safe and enjoy your motorcycle

My trooper died. It was making a "clakity" sound

fan could have been hitting radiator but those vehicles are known for having problems with the timing components. And a radiator under the vehicle is most likely a cooler for the power steering. Its possible that the belt stopped turning due to a pully like the power steering pully not moving causing the vehicle to not charge the battery. That will cause the vehicle to die after the battery runs down

My computer when turned on is making a big rattling sound. What is wrong with the computer and how can I fix it?

Sounds like something is loose and is hitting the fan blades.
Remove the cover and check the cables near the fan, tie the cables back and make sure they don't hit the fan blades.

Ktm wont start

sounds like you may have over adjusted the decompressor, back it off to where it was, this would make it backfire.
To kick them, push the kickstart through its stroke until you get to feel the compression as it approaches the compression stroke, then use the decomp to kick it just past top dead, let the decomp go and then kick it, no throttle

I've got a Toshiba 52HM95 that's several years old. It's been making a grinding noise for a while. A few months ago I took the back off to investigate. The problem went away. But, now it's back. I have a...

The grinding noise sounds like it could be the fan blade hitting the housing. Have your verified that it is the fan that is making the noise? Does the fan feel loose or rub the housing when turned? Well you have already purchased another fan and have gone this far so I say continue dis-assembly if it is the fan. If you were looking to get a new TV then get one but don't trash this one. If you repair it you could sell it or give it to a friend/family member. A new 52in HDTV is not that cheap.
