I believe you are going to find out that your PTO Cylinder has lost compression and when it gets under load, it is not able to function properly. Do a Compression Test and you will find that the PTO Cylinder is going to be well below 90 and your Recoil is going to be right around 110-120. The Repair is not difficult and only takes 4 hours when you get rings installed. I would also recommend that you purchase a new piston with rings, normally you are going to see Piston Slap on the Walls that will prolong the life of the Engine if you do it right the first time.

What is the Compression of the Recoil Pistion? If there is more than a 10 PSI difference then absolutely, The Compression probably gets worse as you heat it up..

Polaris troubleshoot

If I was a betting man, you should do a compression Test on your Engine. What you are going to find is the PTO Cylinder has a lower compression than the Cylinder on the Right. Doing a Top End Repair on your Sled will only take 4 hours to do correctly. You can do RINGS ONLY but you may want to replace the Piston if the SKIRT has marred the Cylinder Walls to ensure a longer life. It is also recommended that you make sure your Oil Injectors are not clogged and functioning correctly.

What different types of cross-country skis are there?

there are two types

1. general touring skis -these are for track skiing. They are long, narrow, and light compared to metal-edge skis, making them more efficient and very fast. This makes them better to use for the groomed trails.

2. metal-edge skis -for skiing out-of-track or on steeper terrain. They are heavier than touring skis and have metal edges to grip the snow and ice. The edges also help with turning on steep slopes. They are meant for deep snow and icy terrain. They are wider in order to be more stable.

see if you have a hose-clamp on your clutch exhaust it may have come off. if it did your motor WILL bogg down until the water is either run out or drains out. Also check your belt cover(when your on the seat its the big black cover on the left side.if there is a hole in it or the gasket is not sealed it will take in water.
