Question about Toto MS990CGR11 Neorest 600 One-Piece Elongated Toilet with Automatic

Open Question

Continual dripping from area where wand is located.

Toilet continually drips... well, more than a drip! The toilet does not over flow. But you would think so with how much water is coming out from around the wand area. Seems a bit slow to refill the bowl after flushing. Once filled, the water level is maintained even with all of the extra water coming into the bowl from behind the wand area. I have photos I took of the area. Much appreciated!

SOURCE: Toto GMax Flushing System drips

What you are experiencing is a flapper valve problem. Since I don't know what model you have I will give you a link to the generic GMax unit. Here is the parts breakdown for a GMax

I would suspect you need part #7 on this diagram a flapper valve. Take the old one with you since different colors ones are used on different models. You should go to the Toto site to locate a dealer first. You can find their site here:

SOURCE: The water level in my Toto Drake toilet bowl is normal right after a flush, but often is very low a few hours later.

The bowl is cracked and is leaking down the drain. You will have to replace it. It may have cracked if the bowl hold-down bolts were overtightened, or the bowl was not able to sit flush (pardon the pun) on the floor. If the bowl rocks when it is first installed, instead of tightening the hold-down bolts, use a couple of tapered shims under the edge of it, then caulk to fill the gap and hide the shims.
Good luck.

Toilet flushed then dripping sound at floor level

If you;re sure its under the toilet, look for a crack in the base, especially around the retianing bolts, or the wax bowl seal is gone, needs replacing.

Toilet has dripping sound - NOT the flapper

As long as the chain on the flapper is slack after it flushes it will seal.
then put some weight on the flapper just to experiment to ensure a tight seal.
if you can see the drain elbow under the toilet in the basement with the ceiling exposing the drain that would be the guaranteed way to know for sure. I am assuming you have done that.
Last but not least the small line on the fill valve that goes into the overflow could be weeping from the fill valve as this is the bowl wash.. So it will drip or sometimes it runs a bit . If this helps

Waterlinesfroze

Your lines are located underneath house leading into the different areas of the house. It is likely that the line has burst if the temp was low enough. If it freezes again, leave a drip on your sinks to keep a flow of water going. This is crucial.

Basically, if water is flowing out of the overflow tube, then water must be coming in...I would suggest that you check the intake valve, it is probably not shutting off completely when the float comes up to the prescribed level, and continues to leak some water into the tank. That is what the overflow tube is there for.

The flapper ball may be contaminated and not sealing or the float level has changed and needs adjustment. You should be able to see if the overflow has water flowing into it continuously.

Water drips into overflow valve after flushing

The purpose of the "Overflow" tube is to fill the toilet bowl. It should drip for a while. If it is continuously dripping there could be dirt or deposits on the ball **** valve. Shut off the water and dissasemble to see if there is deposits or perhaps a torn diaphragm.
