Remove the switches. Remove the caspule. Remove the C Clip that was under the capsule and the circuit board slide outs.

How to take apart a shure pg58 microphone

"PG58" is just the capsule on top. That capsule has been offered on many Shure wireless. We would need to know the model number of the transmitter (it is inside the battery compartment).

How do you get a shure ut4 diversity receiver to work with or receive a wireless sm58 Shure mic?

"SM58" is just the cartridge. You need to look at the model number inside the battery compartment. The UT4 receiver will only work with a UT2 transmitter. They must both be on the same exact frequency.

Make certain the mic and the receiver are in the same exact frequency band. There are stickers on both products that list the frequency band.

The handheld is in a different frequency band than the receiver. There are stickers on both that saw what frequency range they can tune to.

Is the frequency used by Shure UT2/ 58/ PG58 wireless mics still valid or legal, since the Fed have changed frequencies lately?

It depends on the specific frequency that you have. Some of the UT systems operated between 698 and 806 MHz, and they are now illegal.

Other UT systems operated below 698 MHz and those are still legal to use.

Look at the frequency that is on the sticker on the back or bottom of the receiver or the sticker that is in the battery compartment of the microphone.

Why won't my 58 ut2 work with my ut4 receiver?

Make certain they are on the same frequency. On the UT4, the frequency will be on a sticker on the back or bottom. On the UT2, the frequency will be on a sticker inside the battery compartment (probably under the battery).

If the frequencies match, then the system will need to be sent for repairs. Call Delta Audio at 773-764-3634 to have it repaired.

If the frequencies do not match, then they will never work together.
