Yamaha rx-v573 sound delay problem

Hi all, i would like to ask for a help how to fix an issue with my yamaha receiver, i have the following connections, music coming from a PC to a focusrite saffire sound card, from the focusrite saffire the connection goes to allen & heath xone 42 dj mixer, from the allen & heath xone 42 mixer i have 3 outputs going to 1 active studio monitors, 2 active pa speakers 3 yamaha rx-v573 av receiver (using 2 front speakers and sub) i use these 3 sets of speakers separately for their purpose, but sometimes i like to put them all 3 at the same time, at first i didnt had any issues, all three sets were going in sync when music played, now i have the first 1,2 in sync and the 3 yamaha receiver slightly off sync the yamaha is off sync with the 1 and 2 speakers if i use the 2ch stereo setup in music mode (and in any mode with the sub on) only if i engage the receiver in direct mode the sound is back in sync with the 1 and 2 , but than i dont have the sub i havent changed anything in the setup so cannot really tell what made this difference i tried connecting from the focusrite saffire sound card straight to the receiver but the delay is still there and it's out of sync with speakers 1 and 2, so hope for some help how to bring the receiver back in sync with the other speakers when i have the sub on the speaker on, thanx in advance jovanja

The two audio sockets you are connecting your Receiver to are not audio outputs, but inputs to the TV. So you will never get to hear the receiver playback of your TV that way!
Your best bet is to use the HDMI sockets either HDMI 1 or 2 and get a HDMI lead and take that to your Receiver, which hopefully should have an HDMI socket!
This should also pass video as well as hi-fi signals to your receiever.

I have a Yamaha RX V800 AV Receiver is their an lip sync adjustment for internally with this amp.

This monster has a lot of built-in opportunities to tune or mis-tune the sound but nothing to deal with the effect you're addressing.

A discussion of lip sync:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_to_video_synchronization

  • There is extensive use of audio and video signal processing circuitry with significant delays in television systems. Particular video signal processing circuitry which is widely used and contributes significant video delays include frame synchronizers, digital video effects processors, video noise reduction, format converters and MPEG pre-preprocessing.
  • The video monitor processing circuit may delay the video stream. Pixelated displays require video format conversion and deinterlace processing which can add one or more frames of video delay.
  • A video monitor with built-in speakers or line-out may not delay sound and video paths by the same amount of milliseconds. Some video monitors contain internal user-adjustable audio delays to aid in correction of errors.

    hi,
u can make connections only through digital inputs(optical and coaxial). u can connect the digital outputs of ur dvd and cable set top box to the receiver. no way to connect HDMI. HDMI is a high definition media interface. for using it u have to go for a av receiver that supports HDMI.

I have seen this type of thing with several remotes.  You have some light source in the room that is interfering with the reception of the ir.  Turn off all light sources in the room and then try.  You might be surprised!
